We had a wonderful stay at Santa Maria Boutique Homestay. The location is absolutely perfect, just steps away from the serene beach, where the sound of the waves makes every moment relaxing. The hosts and the staff are the heart of this place - warm, attentive and always ready to help with a smile. What I loved was the peaceful atmosphere- it's a kind of place where you can slow down, unwind and really connect with nature. Whether you are sipping a coffee in your ocean view with a private balcony or enjoying the sunset walk, every moment feels special here.

This was truly a "home" away from home for us. The rooms have a traditional and rustic feel. Stayed two nights and was pleasantly surprised with how the hosts and staff made us completely feel at home. For us the highlights were definitely the most delicious home cooked food and the lovely sea view we had from our room. Since I traveled with my kid, I was so relieved getting homely and healthy food which my son enjoyed heartily. The location of the homestay is also good since it's close to the airport and station. For me personally it was a completely relaxing stay with the most amazing home cooked food customized to our taste and menu. ||Thanks Santa Maria team. We would love to come back again and be amidst nature.

My second stay at this beachside oasis of calm. There is a warm welcome from the hosts who do everything to make your stay enjoyable in their small, tasteful hotel. Bijoy is an excellent chef and the food really is the best. They will suggest trips and arrange transport. Or you can just relax in the garden, with the sounds of the waves. I recommend.

We were warmly received by our wonderful hosts, Bijoy and Aleena, whose humility and hospitality truly stood out. It was my parents’ anniversary, and when we requested a special arrangement, they went out of their way to create a beautiful candlelight setup with delicious food and excellent service. The rooms were very clean, aesthetically maintained, and the overall atmosphere was calm and refreshing. Their ever-smiling faces and helping nature added such a positive vibe to our stay. I felt immediately safe and cared for. Its like you’re staying with locals and given 5star treatment. Its relaxing and the food is the best. I have never had food like that in the world. The staff are lovely and treat each other like family. Lie in the hammock and enjoy fresh local food and you will fall in love. The water is safe to drink and the rooms are clean

We recently stayed at Santa Maria and it was truly a wonderful experience. Bijoy and Aleena were excellent hosts who made our trip extremely comfortable. Location: Perfectly situated close to the airport and right on Shanmugam Beach. The property is quaint and peaceful, yet only 20 minutes from the city. Uber/Ola are easily available. Rooms: Clean, spotless, and well-maintained. The beach view was simply amazing. Highly recommend the Deluxe King Room with a beach-facing balcony for the best experience. Food: Authentic Kerala cuisine with the warmth of home-cooked meals – absolutely delicious! Hosts: Bijoy and Aleena went above and beyond to cater to our requests, ensuring every need was taken care of with genuine hospitality. Staff: Though limited in number, the staff were attentive, always available, and very helpful. Overall, a memorable stay made special by the location, the food, and most importantly, the wonderful hosts. Thank you for making our trip so memorable! 🌊🌴✨

I went to Trivandrum with my family in March. Our stay at Santa Maria was excellent and could not be faulted in any way. We were a large group with varying requests, all of which were accommodated without a complaint, by Bijoy and Aleena. We needed to check in very early in the morning and were very late arriving from the airport, yet our check in process ran very smoothly and we were assisted to our rooms by the lovely staff. During our stay we were helped with every one of our requests from ordering birthday cakes, having blouses stitched and were advised on the best areas to visit. If you have a trip to Trivandrum coming up, I would definitely recommend Santa Maria. The best way to describe our experience is a home away from home. The food is also a must try! We had the most authentic local dishes with the freshest seafood caught the morning of preparation.
