Beautiful and serene cottages with simply the best views to offer. Spacious rooms and neat surroundings. This place is best during November-December when it’s misty and foggy all throughout. And delicious meals. They also have the best pups.

Overall great experience with good service and food. The property is quite big with rooms scattered across it. Few rooms have great views and balconies. They have good area for activity and also game properties for badminton,cricket,football,carroms,chess etc

I recently stayed at Vagamon Heights and had a delightful experience. The ambience of the place is simply wonderful, offering a peaceful and serene environment that really lets you unwind. The rooms were tidy and well-maintained, which added to the overall comfort of the stay. One of the highlights was definitely the food. The meals prepared were delicious, and I could tell that a lot of care went into the preparation. The weather was quite unique during my stay, with a misty, almost foggy atmosphere that occasionally turned into rain. While it might not be for everyone, I found it added to the charm and the whole experience of being close to nature. Overall, I would highly recommend Vagamon Heights for anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle of city life and enjoy a refreshing stay in nature.

For anyone considering Vagamon heights, do understand this is quite unlike any random resort. Because the rooms are minimalistic and its all about the activities that they offer around this humongous estate approx 100+ acres. We visited here on Oct 2024 and amidst a bit of wet weather, and must say this place another visit. Rooms: Rooms arent that fancy, they only offer all in packages. Very basic, clean and bit old probably not as fancy as you would expect. They are equipped with heaters, bathrooms are ok not the best though. They have some 5 cottages/bungalows of different size shape. Ours was the one closest to the reception build more like a tree house. Service: Despite being a bit far off from the kitchen and reception the service and staff were really good. Unless you decide to walk, you always need a 4X4 to move within the facility. Location & Locality: This is probably the best part, set amidst an old plantation which is no longer cultivated you have a feeling of being in a tropical rainforest, with unpaved roads all around. Be ready to see a lot of insects, worms etc. During rains you can also expect leeches (thats the flipside) Food: This was another surprise, with a limited spread they served well cooked fresh food, and thankfully it filled our Kerala non-veg appetite. Since we were there on the Onam day, they gave us an OnaSadya instead. Couldnt ask more. The highlight: Apparently the best part is the Off-road safari and the activity center that comes within the package. The picturesque estate has some unbelievable view points and drive ways that give you a glimpse of the true beaty of Western Ghats, and you can even see a bit of Kerala backwaters on sunny days. Special cheers for Sasi Chettan the super skilled driver who took us all around, through roads which are otherwise merely walkable. 3 view points, couple of waterbodies, a tree house, all comes in within the room rent. The activity center is a decent place to spend half of the day with pedal boats, kayaks and a small play area. Zipline and other activities are to be paid extra. A few cons beyond all the bells and whistles. 1. Being located midst a lot of vegetation invites a lot of insects and it may not make many comfortable. Nothing inside the room btw. 2. There is nothing much to be down if its raining. 3. Small kids may not have much to do, but they are expanding the place to add more rooms and hope a swimming pool and a kids play area comes in as well. 4. Barbeque / Campfire was ok, but could enjoy more if you come in as a group. Footnote: I will surely go back here and is the best in Vagamon.
