Mist Woods - Vagamon

We had a terrible experience at Mist Woods. The rooms and kitchen were not clean at all. The kitchen was full of dust and looked like it hadn’t been washed in ages. To make things worse, the heater didn’t work properly. Very disappointing!

The location is good but the rooms are not well maintained. It's smelly and damp. The bathrooms were not clean. It's a cold place and the geyser was so small that it gives only 250ml of hot water. By the time u wait for the water to get heated the rest of the water turns cold. They don't have any kitchen service. The nearest hotel is 6km away in vagamon town n it takes nearly 30 mins to reach. The bed spreads were not clean. The whole place is not maintained well. Would not recommend this place.

The room was disappointing—very moldy, damp, and had an unpleasant smell. Unfortunately, they don't have a dehumidifier, which made the stay uncomfortable. However, the location of this hotel, though a bit far from Vagamon town, offers a peaceful and secluded atmosphere.

I visited with friends from medical college yesterday evening it was very good time to visit vagamon good weather 😀 mistwood with full of mist good clean rooms and house 🏠

This is located around 9 kms from center. The access road is good, but access inside the property is poorly laid. The stairs leading to the room is covered with bird droppings. The rooms are pathetic with fungus on the walls and furniture. The room is small with a queen size bed (actually small). It cannot accommodate 2 adults and a kid. As there was power shutdown in the city, they were on power backup (only for 2 lights - one in the room and one in the toilet). No back up for the fan. It is quite hot in Vagamon as it is off season, how can one be even without a fan for a room that charges around 3k. Poor state of affairs. My 9 year old kid asked me if the place was haunted at the very first sight. I cancelled my booking. Online sites should not host such properties with poor maintenance.

I should have give only half a star for the room and service, unfortunately there is no option for that. Roof of the triple bed room is made of metal sheet during raining time you will hear annoying chuttering sound. I have no words to explain the poor cleanliness of the room. There is no dining table in room, they have only common dinning hall. Simply I would ask everyone not to choose the room until they sort out these problem.

Everything is fine but staff is better ☺️ love the atmosphere and hill view restaurant not live walkable distance Charle Lake in pullikkanam tea estate guys you can feel the tea factory mist also you can buy parcel from factory outlet 🤠 ever ask for peaceful place near the main road. Next time I will go for off road experience.... My kids love this place
