Maadathil Cottages

This was a beautiful stay about 20 minutes walking distance from North cliff area. I liked that the cottages were situated in a quiet area away from the party scene and crowds where I could truly relax and unwind. The hotel manager was very helpful accommodating all of my requests and helping me to find things I needed in the town. Breakfast was delicious and staff were very nice. 10/10 experience. By the way, their Hello to the Queen dessert was absolutely phenomenal.

One of the properties with the best view in varkala with a garden. The beach was at a distance of a few meters. You can sit on those rocks or swings and you can listen to the sound of waves all night. Manager Mr. Karthick was so kind to us. I will recommend this place to everyone. The only downside is the limited menu for dinner and lunch. But they had a great menu for breakfast. Many may find the route to the property as a muddy track, but it's one of the best scenic routes you would ever take in your life.

Maadathil resorts in varkala is the best out there. With it's serene views and it's beachy vibes it's a perfect staycation of everyone. It is child friendly. They have swing , hammocks for the children's to play. It is situated right in front of the beach. The staff are so welcoming and friendly. Karthik the manager kept checking on us actively and was very welcoming. It is a great spot to visit with your friends and family. The hospitality of the staff are really great. The food was delicious and over all would love to visit the resort one more time. Super satisfied with the overall experience. 10/10 would recommend 👌

A pleasant cottage near the beach. The staff were very friendly. There is a restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. Breakfast menu was limited but the lunch was good. ||A 25 minute walk to North Cliff Varkala where there are shops and restaurants.

It is a beautiful property located a few meters from the sea. Rooms are overlooking the sea, and we can hear the sounds of waves crashing. Excellent service, courteous staff, and good food. I have visited for a calm vacation alongside the beach (the off-season) at a clean place with good service, and that’s what I have experienced.

Wonderful peaceful stay in modern and clean room and garden with hammocks right by the sea. Good food, great service! Walking distance along shore ca. 30min to Varkala North Cliff hub and buzz. I also highly recommend Babu Farm close by (fresh fish romantic by candle light on beach).

We spontaneously came to Maadathil Cottage and found it to be a truly great accommodation. Both the rooms as well as the service were superb and worth every penny. It was very clean and we felt quite comfortable. Especially Karthik was very helpful and offered a great service for all our questions and wishes. The food in the restaurant was also quite good with a more than reasonable price. I can truly recommend this place to anybody who wants to have a relaxing and comfortable stay in Varkala.

Stay at the resort was truly enjoyable , with a calm atmosphere and stunning beach views. The resort offers a more private beach experience, and friendly staff provided excellent hospitality , making it a perfect place for relaxation.
