Garden Bay Resort

This property is well-maintained, and we enjoyed a comfortable two-day stay here. It offers all the basic amenities, such as a TV and toiletries. The decor reflects the owner’s good taste, adding to the pleasant atmosphere. The location is excellent—just a 2-minute walk to the beach street, which was very convenient. A caretaker named Ram is always available on-site to assist with any room-related needs, which was helpful. The only drawback was the lack of hot water, but overall, it was a positive experience.

Trust me when I say this. Place was amazing, the kind of location you need to stay at when you come to Varkala, right on the north cliff. If you’re a party person or if you need silence, you get both right here. Amal, the manager was super helpful. If there was an extra star on the rating scale, I would’ve given it to him without hesitation. Super safe for all the women backpackers. Have an amazing stay :))

It was a good stay. Cottage rooms are not that good, we shifted to family room it was good with nice view from balcony. Parking area is small and the roads are very narrow, must be careful while driving a 4 wheeler. There was no laundry service. Overall the property is very clean and neat.

We had a pleasant stay here. Manager Amal and staffs Ram and Arya was so helpful and kind. We enjoyed the stay. The property has all the amenities and the beach view is just 20 step away from the property

Rooms are neat and clean , we stayed in 203 and 204 though they are not exactly sea facing considering their is an restaurant blocking the view , but manageable considering it’s in the center of the cliff and both black sand beach and Varkala main reach are walkable distance , the kitchen needs significant improvement as they say it’s common shareable one but does not have basic utensils to cook for child food . Amal the manager and ram the caretaker are very friendly . Keep up the good hospitality looking forward to visiting again .

We had a very pleasant stay here. Family room was good compared to cottage rooms. The property was clean and well maintained. It is near to the cliff and the view from our balcony is great. Wifi is not good , signal was not proper. Parking is not enough to accommodate more than 3 cars.

We stayed for a week and had an amazing time here. Amal the manager took care of our needs and even upgraded our room on our request. The helpers here were very helpful. Ram and Arya, they kept the rooms and toilets really clean. A definitely recommended stay.

We booked for 3 days and had a pleasant stay over here. Amal is a wonderful host and we quite liked the hospitality shown by him.The cafes/beaches are just few steps walk from this place.
