Tea County Munnar

Good property in an excellent location and very well maintained. The entire property is clean, neat, and the staff are very polite and courteous. However, an à la carte dining option is needed in the restaurant. Since à la carte service is available through room service, we expected the same in the restaurant as well. Especially in the cold climate, guests prefer to have hot and freshly served food at the restaurant, so introducing an à la carte menu there would greatly improve the experience. The recreational activities section was disappointing, particularly the snooker table area. Only one cue stick was provided, the snooker balls were very old, and even basic items like chalk were missing. The table tennis setup was also poorly maintained. These facilities are highlighted online as part of the property experience, so they should be maintained properly and match guest expectations. Other than these concerns, the property maintenance and staff hospitality were very good.

Stay was good also the ppl. Two issues I faced 1. Found out expired jam satchets batch. I informed the same to someone in the restaurant, they didn't said anything, just removed the batch from there.. didn't said anything to us.. what if we feed the same to our kid without noticing the date ? The restaurant ppl didn't took the accountability 2. On the SPA, I took the prime package which cost around Rs. 4750/- . When explaining they said the prime package covers all the things like full body massage, kizhi and shirodara . And I asked for head massage they mentioned that head massage will be covered under shirodara.. only after completing the massage they said head massage is for 5 mins only... And I have to take a head massage specific package to have a 30 mins head massage.. the price and timings are fine..but they have to inform that before starting isn't it ?

A genuine mountain resort with very spacious rooms and very green surroundings but still very close to Munnar Town. Undoubtedly a premier resort in Munnar with very efficient and very polite staff be it House keeping, Room Service or the staff at Restaurant. Food quality and taste is really good. Soji Mathews at Reception is really helpful and suggested a very genuine person, George for sightseeing around Munnar. Cannot recall names of other officials of TEA COUNTY otherwise I would have mentioned every single person. Overall a great experience from 18th to 22 th June 2026.

My experience at the resort was truly wonderful. This was our 6th/7th time staying at this resort, and every visit has been a wonderful experience. The room was clean, spacious, and had a beautiful view. The buffet food was excellent with many tasty options. I also loved the peaceful atmosphere and the convenient location in town. Overall, it was a relaxing and memorable stay in Munnar, and I would definitely recommend this resort to others.
