Rains Valley Resort Mankulam

In July 2026, I stayed here for one night with my family, and we had a wonderful experience. The rooms were beautiful, the Jeep service was excellent, and the view from the room was absolutely stunning. Our entire family was very happy with the stay, and we would love to come back for our next vacation. The only area that could be improved is the food. If the resort could provide an option to prepare and serve food on-site, it would be a great addition. We ordered food from outside, and we had to pay an additional delivery charge not only to the restaurant but also to the resort, which I did not fully understand. Apart from this, everything was excellent, and my family really enjoyed the stay. We look forward to visiting again!

We stayed at Rains Valley Resort, Mankulam recently. The room and washroom were clean and well-maintained, which is a positive. However, our overall experience was disappointing. There was no kettle provided in the room, and no hot water available in the bathroom during the evening. Since we were traveling with a child, this caused significant inconvenience. The next day, when we requested hot water, the staff mentioned that the heater was not being used due to the hot climate. After repeated follow-ups, they provided only a small amount of hot water after nearly an hour, which was not sufficient for a child’s bath. There was no complimentary tea or coffee provided, and even tea was chargeable. Additionally, they claimed to have a “live kitchen and restaurant,” but in reality, there was no proper restaurant setup—just a small area on the upper side of the villa with a few tables and chairs, which cannot be considered a proper dining facility. They also charged extra for drinking water, which was unexpected. The dinner was average, but the pricing was quite high for the quality offered. The road leading to the resort is in poor condition and somewhat difficult to access. At the time of booking, we were informed that Anakkulam is just 6 km away, but in reality, it is more than 10 km. We were also told that nearby restaurants are available and that outside food is allowed in the room. However, there are no nearby restaurants or hotels, making it inconvenient for guests. Overall, based on our experience, I would not recommend this property.

Nice view from room. They should improve their hospitality and services.. also if there is a pool it’s should be better for family vacation. And there is no other activities… only just one carroms… they have to add more inside activities so we can stay more days otherwise it will make boaring

We stayed here for two days. Good room. But very far tedious travel from city. If there is elderly person don't prefer no room service. If u r honeymoon couple don't want to be disturbed this is the perfect place not for family . More insects and absolutely no cleaning will be done. Please take a broom along with you

An absolute paradise! The resort is beautifully constructed in the lap of nature with a peaceful waterfall going through the grounds. Staff were courteous, and the buffet spread was excellent. The rooms were spotless, and waking up to the lush greenery was the perfect way to ,,Dinner and Breakfast So delicious,,After all Recommend Stay spot ,,,
