Terrace Resorts Wayanad

Terrace Resorts is nice and a great place to relax. The Banasura backwater views from premium villas are fantastic. Facilities like the swimming pool and indoor games are well maintained, and the staff and room service were courteous and helpful. The main challenge we faced was with the food. Options were quite limited, and we had to order only from what was available at the time. Staff found it difficult to even arrange a small item like pickle, saying it was not there. Given the uneven land terrain and the distance between the rooms and the restaurant, it wasn’t convenient to walk to the restaurant frequently, especially for those who are older or have mobility issues. We relied on room service, but since staff had to cover a long distance, food often arrived cold. Another concern was billing. We ordered items listed in the in-room menu, but the final bill showed most dishes overcharged by ₹20–30. When we questioned this, the staff explained it was due to an LPG issue. Some upfront transparency would have been appreciated before placing the orders. I am yet to get my room bill, even after multiple follow-ups on return. Overall, the property is excellent for a peaceful stay, but food service and billing practices need improvement to match the quality of the rest of the resort.

View from the room is very good..|And thats it..There is nothing much this resort offers. ||Room cleanliness : The floor is dirty , not sure wen was it mopped last. The bathrooms stink. Hell lot of ants in the room. Since d hotel is surrounded with greenery u will find a lot of small frogs wen going from the reception to your room.. Gets very difficult during night time specially since the hotel lighting is very very less. ||Food : Food taste is good for dinners and younget a lot of vegetarian options but the breakfast spread is very very basic. Just 3 - 4 items.. Also these items r kerala speciality only. |Plus we requested if we cn order any breakfast items seperately from ala carte but even on multiple requests the staff dint agree & said only buffet is available. ||Also 10 pm kitchen closes..No orders after that.||Rooms : We were 3 couples and booked 3 super deluxe villas.. Out of d 3 villas 1 was bigger than the other 2 and the difference was quite visible. The staff was nt ready to agree on this at all.

We stayed at this resort recently and, unfortunately, our experience was disappointing overall. The only highlight of this property is the beautiful view. If you're visiting solely for the scenery, it may be worth considering. However, the rooms are not up to the mark and need better maintenance. We also faced issues with the geyser, which made our stay uncomfortable. The swimming pool does not have a warm water facility. Families traveling with children should be aware of this, especially during cooler weather. Our kids ended up falling sick after using the pool. The food was another letdown. The menu options were very limited, and the taste was below average. We expected much better quality from a resort of this type. If you book the lake-view rooms, be prepared for a lot of walking, which may not be convenient for families with young children or elderly guests. Overall, apart from the scenic views, the resort did not meet our expectations, and we would not recommend it for a comfortable family vacation.

Beautiful Lakeside Escape with Room for Improvement! (4/5)If you are looking to disconnect, unwind, and keep yourself calm, this resort is a lovely and peaceful choice.The Highlights: Breathtaking Views: The resort offers a beautiful, scenic view of the dam and surrounding trees, making it a perfect nature getaway. Good Rooms: The resort property is quite big, and the rooms are neat, clean, and come with a private balcony to enjoy the dam views and fresh air due to greenary.Good Comfort Food: the dal chawal was simple, comforting, and tasted very good. Areas for Improvement:Unmanaged Breakfast: The breakfast setup was unmanaged, and most of the food options were not served hot, which was a bit disappointing. Hit-or-Miss Main Course: While the dal chawal was great, the paneer dish was absolutely pathetic and lacked flavor.Overall, it is a fantastic location for a peaceful, scenic stay, but the kitchen management definitely needs an upgrade

Good experience Had fun though the water heater in our room wasn't working.food was nice. The view was great . Rooms were clean but bathrooms could be better. Pool was great. Activities provided were also fun. Overall nice experience.
