Had a really pleasant stay at Mizzle Resort in Wayanad. The biggest highlight is definitely the beautiful dam/reservoir view — the scenery is calm, refreshing, and perfect if you’re looking to relax away from crowded tourist spots. The ambience is peaceful and surrounded by greenery, which makes it a great choice for a short getaway. The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-maintained, with nice balcony views. The swimming pool is available and well-kept, though a bit small. Indoor games like billiards add a nice touch for spending time inside. Service was decent and staff were friendly and helpful. One area that could improve is the food — options are limited, so it’s better to check in advance or plan accordingly. Overall, a good budget-friendly resort with great views and a calm atmosphere. Recommended for couples and small groups looking for a relaxing stay in Wayanad.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this resort! The views were truly stunning and made the entire experience even more special. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, always going the extra mile with their kind gestures. All the amenities we requested were provided promptly, making our stay very comfortable and hassle-free. Everything was well taken care of, and we genuinely felt relaxed throughout. It was truly a memorable experience and completely worth every penny. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and beautiful getaway. ⭐☆☆☆☆ (1/5) — Extremely Disappointing Stay at Mizzle Resort, Wayanad I recently stayed at Mizzle Resort with my parents and our pet dog during a monsoon trip to Wayanad. Unfortunately, the experience was far below expectations and became one of the most disappointing hotel stays we have had. Positives * The surrounding natural scenery is beautiful. * The location offers views of the hills and greenery. * The monsoon atmosphere around the property is pleasant. * Pet-friendly accommodation is a positive feature. Unfortunately, the positives ended there. Major Issues Room Condition The room was not maintained to an acceptable standard. * Damaged walls were visible. * Insects were present inside the room. * The overall condition felt neglected. * The AC swing function was not working properly. For the price charged, the room quality was disappointing. Lack of Basic Amenities Several basic amenities that most travelers expect were unavailable. * No kettle in the room. * No tea or coffee provisions. * No milk available. * No proper drinking water arrangement. * Basic convenience items were missing. These may seem like small things individually, but together they create a frustrating guest experience. Food Problems Food availability was a major concern. * Limited dining options nearby. * Most nearby options were non-vegetarian. * Difficulty finding suitable food. * Even basic tea and refreshments were difficult to obtain at certain times. Guests should not struggle to find basic food and beverages while staying at a resort. Poor Infrastructure Several operational shortcomings reduced comfort. * Insufficient outdoor lighting. * Limited parking space. * Inadequate support for guests arriving during bad weather. * Poor convenience during nighttime movement around the property. Overall Comfort The resort felt isolated without providing the facilities expected from a remote resort. The property seems to rely heavily on its natural surroundings, but the actual guest experience falls short because of poor maintenance and inadequate amenities. Final Verdict The beautiful scenery around Wayanad helped save the trip, but the resort itself did not. Very good resort with an awesome location. The stay was extremely comfortable, and the staff were very friendly, helpful, and attentive. The hospitality made our experience even more memorable. Highly recommended and a must-visit place for anyone looking for a pleasant stay

A quiet location with great view of Banasura Sagar Dam!!! Value for money spent!!! However, the resort was not well maintained, when compared to other resorts in the locality. Location is also remote and the complimentary breakfast was only ready by 9 am. Overall a good stay if u come with friends!!!
