We stayed here for three nights, from 30th December 2025 to 2nd January 2026, looking for a quiet, offbeat escape—and this lake-view property delivered beyond expectations. The highlight is the stunning, clear, unobstructed view of the Banasura Sagar Lake/Dam, visible from every room as well as the cozy garden area. The property is very well maintained, with a beautifully landscaped garden, children’s play area, and an infinity swimming pool overlooking the lake—easily one of the best views we’ve experienced in Wayanad. Evenings are calm and relaxing, with a bonfire and light music adding to the overall vibe. Rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable, and all basic amenities are either available on-site or close by. Overall, it’s an excellent value-for-money stay. If you’re looking for a peaceful, scenic, non-crowded getaway in the Wayanad region, this is a great choice. Special mention to Alwin, the property manager—always warm, smiling, and willing to go the extra mile. He’s a major asset and one of the biggest USPs of the property. We will definitely revisit and highly recommend this place. Keep up the great work, Alwin and the Windyard team!

It was a truly pleasant stay. I highly recommend booking the lake-view room—the view is absolutely stunning and lives up to the name. The outdoors are beautifully windy and refreshing. A special mention to PIC Alwin for doing an incredible job, and the food was absolutely delicious. Highly enjoyed the experience!

Our stay at Windyard Resort, Wayanad was really wonderful. From the moment we arrived, we were surrounded by calm, greenery, and a sense of peace that instantly makes you slow down and breathe. The resort is beautifully located amidst nature, offering stunning views and a very serene atmosphere. It’s the kind of place where mornings feel refreshing and evenings feel magical. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully maintained, making our stay extremely pleasant. What truly stood out was the warmth and hospitality of the staff. Everyone was courteous, helpful, and genuinely cared about our comfort. Small gestures and prompt assistance made a big difference and added a personal touch to our experience. The room was near and clean and the wind was especially good the owner philip was a very nice person and the service was very good the receptionist alvin was a guy who u can behave with the pool was nice overall the stay was very nice
