Aaroodam Resort, Machoor Mala , Puralimala Chithravattom, PO, Thillankeri, Kerala 670702 is ideal for those who want to break away from the hustling busy everyday life and enjoy some solitude or just want to chill with like minded friends undisturbed by neighbours or people around. The resort is on top of a hill and you may not see many humans up there. The climate when we went in July was heavily raining and everything was wet. There are around 3 -4 cottages up there you can rent. The cottages are neatly maintained with attached bathrooms and each can host up to 4 people. There isn't anything else other than pure nature ..so you may need to decide whether that isolation and peace is what you desire before booking. For us we were 4 close friends and we decided to take some meat and fish and cook up there. There are common places in the resort where you could set up a kitchen. The place offers good drinking water and all kitchen equipment required, you just have to bring your own grocery, fish, meat, vegetables whatever. We had a great time there self cooking and having some beverages we carried and the climate was great and we loved the rain. The place could also be apt for couples or families to spend time away from the city. If you are coming out with kids and family it would be better to choose months without rain. As kids could utilize the available play areas in the resort. Also there will be limited mobile range so for kids make sure you have enough offline content to engage them with.

The staff is friendly, attentive, and always ready to assist with a smile, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable stay. From check-in to check-out, the experience is seamless and stress-free. The resort is easily accessible, with a well-maintained road leading directly to the property. There are also ample parking spaces, making it convenient for guests with vehicles to arrive and park without any hassle.

The food was very tasty and the staff were friendly and cooperative. There's also a mini hall to organize small gatherings and functions. Rooms and cottages are clean and available for stay as well. A nice place to stay for 1 or 2 days. If you have time a view point is nearby. All arrangements are there for cooking. Arrangements for campfire is also available. 2 bedrooms and a bed in hall is given. 10 adults can easily fit here. Treehouse without roof is available for enjoyment. Cost is moderate.

It's the best resort in Kerala in terms location and ambience and cost effectiveness. We spent quality time there and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Recomend everyone to visit the place
