Pros: Perfect location, spacious rooms, and a truly priceless window view. Had a great experience overall. Cons/Considerations: Room cleanliness was just okay rather than pristine. They charge ₹20 per water bottle and lack an R.O. dispenser. Note: It rained our entire stay. Since there aren't many nearby restaurants, make sure to arrange your meals ahead of time.

My stay at Vaga Hills Resort,Vagamon, Kerala was truly memorable and deeply calming. Set along serene mountains, the property beautifully blends nature. The overall ambience is peaceful, elegant, and thoughtfully maintained. The mist and hills views are breathtaking, especially during mornings and evenings. I genuinely enjoyed every moment spent within the property, whether walking around the grounds or relaxing by the hills. The staff across the resort were warm, courteous, and consistently attentive, which elevated the entire experience. Service was smooth, prompt, and delivered with genuine hospitality. A special mention goes to Mr.Anish(owner),who provided exceptional service during our stay. His attention to detail, politeness, and sincere care for our comfort truly stood out. The room was always perfectly maintained, and his efforts made us feel valued and at home. I would highly recommend Anish for his outstanding commitment and dedication. Overall, this was a wonderful experience, and Vaga Hills exceeded expectations in every way. I would happily return and recommend this property to anyone seeking relaxation, heritage, and heartfelt service, and unforgettable hospitality.

I saw some positive comments in the reviews, but don’t believe them. Maybe they were posted by their own staff or fake accounts. I am totally disappointed with this hotel. This is the very worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The rooms were not clean, the fan was not working, and the bedsheets and bedspread were very dirty and ugly. Ants and cockroaches were roaming around the room. The switchboard was also not working. No one at the reception addressed our queries properly. The bathroom was extremely unhygienic, and there was a bad smell throughout the room. The water supply was poor, and basic amenities were missing. The room maintenance was horrible, and the overall atmosphere was uncomfortable and disappointing. The staff behavior was careless, and customer service was very poor. We paid money expecting a decent stay, but this hotel completely ruined our experience. It was not worth the price at all. I strongly recommend everyone not to book this hotel. This was one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had.

Amazing stay the rooms were cozy and clean with a beautiful view of hills. Staffs were warm, attentive, and made us feel right at home. Zero rush, zero stress — just pure relaxation.

I highly recommend avoiding this hotel if you are traveling with family. During our stay, there was a complete lack of hospitality staff, and basic necessities such as food and drinking water were unavailable. Furthermore, when we requested an electric kettle, the staff rudely questioned why we had not brought our own, later revealing that the entire establishment possesses only one kettle for all guests. The service was entirely unacceptable.Dirty rooms with cigarette butts all over the place.

This hotel is at very nice location however the rooms and its facilities are not at all up to the mark. They don't have mobile charger near to the bed or anywhere in the room. All the fan regulator is broken and also Fan has Top Speed with 0 air supply. No in-house Restaurant options.

Vaga hill resort management seems to have no discretion when renting to large groups, allowing unruly behavior to go unchecked. We were unfortunately placed next to a group of 10-12 men who lacked basic decency. For them, a party/bonfire meant hooting, making animal noises and screaming at the top of their lungs, which felt immature and intimidating. They completely ruined our two night stay, keeping us awake until 4 AM. The hotel staff only intervened after repeated complaints, and even then, they struggled to handle the drunk group. I strongly suggest future guests inquire about the property's stance on such nuisance before booking. While everyone deserves to have a good time, it should never be at the expense of other guests' comfort. Basic courtesy is a must, and if guests cannot adhere to it, management needs to step in immediately."

My recent stay at this hotel was unfortunately not a pleasant one. While the room I was given was quite spacious, several issues made the experience very uncomfortable. Firstly, the hotel is located slightly far from the main town, which meant I had to travel for everything — including meals, basic necessities. To make matters worse, the road leading to the hotel was in terrible condition, with large potholes that made the journey even more difficult. The room itself, although large with good views, was in poor condition. The sofas were broken, and the room had a strong, unpleasant smell with visible mould in several areas, hot water was not working. At night, the room was full of flies and insects, which made it hard to sleep. To my shock, I even found a lizard inside the room. Thankfully, a staff member helped to remove it, but it was not a reassuring experience. I requested a room change, but upon checking, the other available rooms were in even worse condition, so I had no choice but to stay in the original room. While the staff were helpful and courteous, the state of the hotel is far from acceptable. With such poor maintenance and basic hygiene concerns, I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone.
