Had a wonderful stay at Varkala Escape Resort! The place is peaceful, clean, and surrounded by a relaxing atmosphere away from the crowded cliff area. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, making it perfect for a calm getaway. What I loved most was the friendly and helpful staff who made the stay feel very welcoming. The location is also convenient — close enough to the beach and cafés, yet quiet enough to truly relax. A great choice for couples, families, or anyone looking for a comfortable and affordable stay in Varkala. Would definitely recommend and visit again

I stayed at this resort for 3 days. First, I would like to mention the positives. The owner and staff were friendly, and whenever we needed something, they provided it quickly. The service was good overall. Now for the negatives. We were charged ₹10,500 for 2 deluxe rooms for 2 nights. Each room cost around ₹2,500 per night, which was not worth the price. Honestly, the place felt more like a PG stay than a resort. The bathroom tap was broken, and even after informing them that 3 people would be staying in each room, only one room was provided with an extra cot. For the other room, they only gave a bedsheet to spread on the floor, which was disappointing for a deluxe room. The room also had voltage fluctuation issues so AC will not work for some times and I experienced 1 hour power shutdown in my room. My conclusion is that this resort(PG) would be a good deal only if the room price is within ₹1,500 per night.

Relaxing Stay for a Small Family- We stayed at Varkala Escape Resort for 2 nights as a couple with our 4-year-old, and had a very pleasant experience. The staff were super friendly and always happy to help, which made our stay even more comfortable. The location is perfect — close enough to the cliff and beach to walk over anytime, yet tucked away from the main crowd, so it’s peaceful and quiet. The property itself is clean and decent, and we appreciated the kitchen facility which came in handy when traveling with a small child. Overall, it was a relaxing and convenient stay, and we’d definitely consider coming back!

I had a very comfortable and pleasant stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean, well-maintained, and perfect for relaxing after a day out in Varkala. A special mention to Hemant, who was extremely helpful and courteous throughout my stay. From check-in to local guidance, he made sure everything was smooth and comfortable. Also, he helped me find a rental Scootey in his own bike and made sure that I get one which I did in the peak season. His hospitality truly made a difference. Overall, a great place to stay with excellent service and warm staff. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would love to stay here again!
