Moon Waves Beach Resort

I spent two months in this hotel in 2024 March and April. Very close to the beach, well, then you have to climb a few hundred steps, but this is not their fault. |I felt like at home. The staff is friendly and helpful. |I got some discount because of my lengthy stay. |I avoided the restaurants close to the beach and dined in a local place close to the hotel, where a chicken curry or the beef curry (yes, beef!!!) were very affordable.

I am going to be very honest about my experience. The hotel is not good at all. The rooms were in very old & dirty condition, sand lying on the floor everywhere, especially entrance of the bathroom. The wash basin faucet kept on rotating but did not get fixed by the staff, and when we asked for them to change the room, they refused it. The pillow covers were very dirty (full of molds to be precise) and torn in places, smelly blanket (probably never washed), towel provided was full of mud. Basic amenities like electric kettle, tea & coffee service, hot water facility were missing. The hotel staff didn’t even care about customer satisfaction. It felt like a 1-star hotel and would never recommend anyone to stay at this place.

Minus rating for this stay please don't go if you expect good service for your paid price. They provide one rupees clinic plus shampoo and medimix soap of worth rupees 3 when you check in and also no proper hot water facility they won't be bothered if you even call them and inform that you need something. "Most importantly please check room before pay also don't pay the amount prior and don't fall for the Google images on any website from this stay high price cheap quality and worst services". Bedsheets and pillow covers are dirty they provide you with one water bottle and ask us to refill that whenever required.

The rooms are clean, simple, and comfortable with a nice view of the sea. The location is perfect—you can walk to the beach in a few minutes and enjoy the cliffside restaurants and shops. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the overall atmosphere is calm and relaxing. It’s a good choice if you want a quiet stay close to the beach.
