Happy Buddha S4

How wonderful and beautiful it is to always find my way back to Happy Buddha, Varkala a little home away from home, tucked amidst banana plants, grey clouds, and those unexpected downpours that somehow make everything feel even more magical. Jo is one of those rare hosts who makes you feel less like a guest and more like someone returning home. An amazing host, but an even more wonderful person. And then there’s Princess, the cat who has completely stolen my heart, and Max, the sweetest dog who makes the place feel even more like home. Between their company, the rain, the greenery, and the quiet that settles over everything, there’s something about this place that keeps calling me back. Some places you visit. Some places you return to. And then there are places that quietly become a little piece of home.

If you are looking for an excellent yet budget-friendly place to stay, this is it! The property is wonderful, and the overall communication with the team was great. A special thank you to the owner, Roshan, who is incredibly helpful and ensures guests have a comfortable stay. Will definitely visit again! tq!

We had a wonderful 4-day stay at Happy Budha S4 Resort. The property is quiet, clean, and well-maintained, making it a perfect place to relax. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and we especially liked the kitchen and rooftop entertainment area, which added to the overall experience. The host was extremely helpful and went out of his way to assist us in every possible way, which made our stay even more pleasant. We truly appreciated the warm hospitality and attention to detail. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay and would definitely recommend this property to anyone planning to visit Varkala.

Excellent all round. Super clean. Nice spacious environment. Very helpful staff. Great bylines in the hotel. The owner Rosh will give you time and great advice on the area. Close to all the local beaches., yet nice and quiet You won’t regret booking here.

I stayed in this property during the my visit to varkala, kerala. Though the booking experience is horrible though MMT,while the owner Roshan was a saviour. Our original room was booked for 4 days in the 1st floor while MMT not send any mail to the hotel and after a intense communication with MMT excutive we refund our money while Roshan made an arrangement in one non ac room at the ground floor for 1 day and for 2 days for the room we actually booked. Not only that for one day he make arrangement for one day in a nearby guest house. This property is very clean and well maintained and mostly a popular place to foreigners and the usp is the owner Roshan( may b i spell his name incorrectly) . He is not only a nice guy but also a one stop situation for giving proper information, sharing important contacts of auto, cab, bikes , arranging different events ( though I missed all due to spending whole time roaming around) . This property is around 7-8 mins walking distance from North cliff and 3 mins riding from black sand beach.
