⭐ 0/5 – Extremely Disappointing. Not Worth the Hype. We stayed at Vythiri Village and booked the Celebrity Villa with an indoor pool, expecting a premium experience based on the hype and reputation of the resort. Unfortunately, the reality was completely different. The resort creates a lot of hype and expectations, but once you actually stay there, there is very little to justify it. Basic amenities and basic guest services were not properly provided. We had to carry all our luggage by hand for almost 500 metres, along with our babies, because the resort did not arrange a buggy or provide proper assistance. When I informed the reception about this, instead of taking responsibility or helping us, they said, “Your payment is already completed.” That response says a lot about the attitude towards guests. It felt like the priority was business and payment, rather than guest satisfaction and hospitality. For the amount we paid and the expectations created by the resort, the actual experience was extremely disappointing. Too much hype, but very little substance. The reality is completely different from what is being promoted. ❌ Poor service ❌ Lack of basic amenities ❌ Poor guest assistance ❌ Very disappointing customer care ❌ Not worth the price I would never recommend this resort, especially for families with children.

Terrible stay at Vyithri Village resort. Getting food on time was a big problem. Only 1 restaurant was in operational conditional with too much of load that too with very limited menu. Even a starter, curry or bread order took 50-60 mins.|Taste was awful.||During breakfast there were not enough place to seat. There was continuous shortage of spoons, plates and food on the serving table.

I recently stayed at Vythiri Village Resort and had a mixed experience. The rooms and overall ambience of the property are really good—peaceful, well-maintained, and surrounded by nature, which makes it a great place to relax. However, the service did not meet expectations. At the restaurant, we had to wait almost 40 minutes for our food after placing the order, which was quite disappointing. Additionally, during check-out, we experienced a long delay as well—we waited nearly an hour for pickup from our room despite informing the staff multiple times. While the property itself is beautiful, the service needs significant improvement to match the overall experience.

We had a wonderful stay at Vythiri Village Resort. The resort offers a perfect blend of relaxation and activities amidst beautiful natural surroundings. There were plenty of activities to enjoy, including archery, cycling, cricket nets, swimming pools, and the artificial waterfall, which was a unique and refreshing experience. The spa was also excellent and helped us unwind completely. The food was delicious, with a great variety of options and consistently good quality throughout our stay. What truly made our experience special was the hospitality of the staff. Everyone was friendly, courteous, and always ready to help. A special mention to Avantika from the Front Office, who went above and beyond to assist us and ensure our stay was comfortable and memorable. Overall, a fantastic experience and a great destination for families, couples, and anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in Wayanad. Highly recommended! 😊

We stayed at the resort from 20th May to 23rd May. It’s a large property with many room categories, and we chose the pool villa. The villa was very good — spacious, furnished in an old‑style charm (not antique, but classic), and the private pool was clean with proper water circulation. The privacy was excellent, which made the stay even more relaxing.||The staff were attentive and helpful throughout. We had checked in to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and they made the moment special by delivering a cake and a card exactly at midnight, along with a flower bouquet that I had arranged for the celebration. A thoughtful gesture that we truly appreciated.||I would have happily given a full 5‑star rating, but the chaotic restaurant experience, delays in in‑room dining, and wrong orders prevent me from doing so. The F&B Manager personally met us, apologized for the inconvenience, and patiently listened to our suggestions. I genuinely hope the service improves, because the resort has great potential.||Overall, a very good stay and highly recommended.
