The Oberoi Vindhyavilas Wildlife Resort, Bandhavgarh

The Bandhavgarh National Park is a well known tiger haven, and there's no better way than the Oberoi way to experience the diversity of flora and fauna present in the region. Beginning from the rich flora and bird life at the Vindhyavilas itself, to the cocktail hour wildlife presentations, the "bush dinner", the sleek safari vehicles and knowledgeable naturalists. We sighted 3 tigers across 3 safaris, and had many close calls as well. The night safari was an incredible and thrilling experience! The entire experience would be incomplete without a mention of the personalized bonnet breakfasts for each guest, all of which in my opinion truly makes for the most luxe safari experience in the country!

By far the finest luxury resort in Bandhavgarh. Great food and excellent service. Well located viz a viz the park. Excellent naturalist team - ask for Soulin to accompany you for the drives. Highly learned naturalist with enormous experience from Ranthambore now honing his skills and sharing his knowledge with visitors to Bandhavgarh. Book jungles drives via the resort for a seamless experience.

This new addition to the Oberoi group is fantastic. We stayed when it was not quite finished. But it didn’t matter, the staff, as always with Oberoi, are second to none. The new tent, the grounds and lodge are immaculate. The chef and his team, the lodge staff and the General Manager are the icing on the cake Then, of course there are the Tigers…..
