Riverside County Resort Amba Ghat

Fantastic Country House Bungalows style property tucked away in a hilly region called Ambaghat about 2 hrs from Kolhapur.||Overlooking a river, the only sound you'll hear all day is that of the rustling trees & rustling breeze.||From the Hotel, we did an Open Jeep Top Jungle Safari with visit to a local dam, jungle & some scenic valley view spots.||Very scenic property, super romantic & very little do except take long leisurely strolls in the 30 acre green grass laden property which has gently undulating lawns & outdoor games.||For families with kids, there's Pickle Ball, Tennis, Net Cricket, Badminton, Table Tennis, Snooker, Carrom & even a very clean ultra Blue Swimming Pool - its all there, or you can just settle with a book from the small book shelf in the reception & enjoy the wind whe swaying in the hammocks..||Restaurant is passable with local & Indian/Chinese dishes and breakfast has a fairly decent spread that is sufficient & tasty. Food & Drinks are reasonably priced & service is slow but friendly & smiling. ||All in All a must visit property - You'll make some wholesome memories..

Amazing property with greenery all around, there's a river alongside - the property includes activities like kayaking, wall climbing, table tennis, pool, and more. Perfect for a family weekend trip, hard drinks are available too. Jungle Safari in a jeep is also available - separately paid. I enjoyed my 1 night stay here which included lunch, high tea, dinner and breakfast. Definitely recommended to anyone looking for a peaceful stay ❤️

Riverside County is a nice place to relax and rejuvenate. Spread over acres, it has nice cosy rooms with all the usual facilities. ||The staff is efficient, courteous and polite. However, they could have been a little more attentive. Personal stuff left at reception to be sent to our room was not done immediately and other guests consumed our stuff. ||One of the reception phone lines and housekeeping phone line were not working. We had to walk to the reception to get a message across.||The housekeeping staff was ill prepared to clean the room. He did not change the hand towel. He did not clear the dustbin. That spoilt the overall experience. ||Plus large stretches of the last 40 kms to the resort are in awful condition.

Amazing view and beautiful location. Services given by all staff was very good. I had some important work on laptop , owner helped me in sharing his laptop. Thank you so much..... I had posted my photos on status at the time of stay every person asked me which resort is this . Everyone must visit atleast once .

Tranquil, serene n relaxing enviorment! The rooms were very well set up! Really lovely to laze away time sitting on the balcony and take in raw nature! There is a Zip line, kayaking and children's park for activities... plus a big space to walk around. There's also a safari in a jeep which is fun if one sits on the upper level of the vehicle. The resort restaurant is good ... very good infact! They have a bar as well! Simply excellent staff right from the reception, house keeping, room service to restaurant staff!

My experience is mixed, the view, location and overall experience is amazing. The biggest drawback for this place is the service and staff. They seem to be too new for the hotel Industry. A simple task of putting a bill in an envelope needs to be taught. They are polite but not trained to take care of many guests. Vej food was very limited and the taste was okaiesh. A great weekend spot to spend time with family and friends if you want to be one with Nature

Amazing location of the property..as said by the name ...on the river bank. All the rooms are very spacious with wooden furniture and large deck..overlooking river and dense forest after it. We being jain.. had a very few choices in the menu..but whichever item available were delicious. They need to improve on the indoor play area items and availability of permanent staff to help the guests in that area. We recommend the property to all the nature enthusiasts..to stay so close to nature and listen to natural music.

Excellent property in scenic nature. Can go for two nights if you are seeking relaxation. Jungle safari on top of jeep is unique experience. Can extend one day and visit Panhala fort also which is approx 70-75 minutes drive. Food need some improvement so is hospitality of staff!|Kayaking and zip line are good activities.
