Don't waste your hard earned money, time. No maintenance, no hygiene, no canteen facility, nothing.... Only government taking money with out giving any service. Staff is just doing there duties for there salaries only, not helping to tourist, even they're not interested to talk with tourist. Even, there is no animals in the forest. No facility for lunch dinner breakfast not even tea coffee. No play instruments for children. Toilets are dirty. Doors are broken. No cleaning in rooms. Better way go for pench or tadoba.

Well constructed government property but miserably managed. Staff here is working just for their livelihood. Those at reception seemed to be less concerned with comfort of visitors. Rooms were well managed though in shaggy condition, smelling of fungus. Being jungle area, though loss of connectivity may be a blessing for those coming to relax, but absence of wifi service from forest department makes this place worst, you feel cut off from other world. The stay can be more pleasant and satisfying if concerned department lays attention towards providing these services.

Very calm and good place situated in heart of jungle, excellent place for spending quality time with your loved once. Locality, Accommodation and food is fantastic.

I had high expectations for my stay at Semadoah Tiger Reserve, but unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. There was garbage strewn in front of the rooms, which completely ruined the natural ambiance and gave the place an unkempt feel. To make matters worse, the bathrooms lacked basic necessities like buckets and mugs, which made even the simplest tasks inconvenient. There was no provision for hot water, making it extremely uncomfortable during chilly mornings. The blankets provided were in terrible condition, with noticeable tears, which made them unusable. These issues reflect poor maintenance and management, which is unacceptable, especially for a place that charges a premium for its location. I hope the management takes these concerns seriously and improves the overall experience for future visitors. Until then, I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

We visited with family in Nov2024. Nice location and food is tasty and at reasonable price. A type cottages are average in hygiene and cleanliness which are bit expensive Staff or security including forest caretaker Mr. Meshram are reluctant/incooperative Bathroom geyser for hot water never worked in chilling cold though they have generator turned on. Regarding jungle safari, don't expect to sight a tiger. We did spot Sambar, Barashingi, Raangava and birds.

We had stayed in December 2024, in the circular cottages which are comfortable for 2 people and come with basic furnishing. Rooms are clean and well maintained, hot water available subject to power situation and essentially comfortable. Resort is located at the banks of the extremely scenic Sipna river. Complex itself is full of greenery and very beautiful. While other reviews complain of rats, we did not find any. Power supply is a bit of a problem as MSEB power outages extend to upto 10 hours a day. They have a generator facility that is run only in the evenings. Could get dark if there is a power outage in the middle of the night and generator not switched on, so suggest to city folks to keep mobile phones or alternative lighting sources handy. Wifi does not work contrary to stated availability. Visitors wanting to stay connected are advised to carry a BSNL SIM that works well in Semadoh and surrounding areas. Canteen is available on the complex and very good street food options are available at the naka on the highway nearby. Dahi rabdi and kalakand are must-eats

Nice and Clean Resorts. Comfortable, Calm and Privacy at pick. Scenic views. Maintained by government officials. Light goes off sometimes but that doesn't create chaos.
