Shining Sand Beach Resort

We booked a different cottage expecting a pleasant stay, but what we got was completely unacceptable. Instead of the cottage we reserved, they gave us a much worse one, including this resort, which was an absolute nightmare. The cottage was in poor condition, and to make matters worse, the owner was extremely rude and unprofessional. There was no hospitality, no consideration for guest comfort—just a careless attitude that ruined our stay. This place did not meet any expectations, with rundown facilities, terrible service, and an owner who clearly does not care about the guests. I highly recommend staying away from this resort. Don’t waste your time or money here; you’ll only end up frustrated and disappointed. There are far better options in Devbag!

Tarkarli and Devbagh is very beautiful place and there are many good resorts there but we booked this hotel we also read the review but we ignored the review but those reviews are true because..service is very bad, inside the wooden cottages smells was very bad, and about owner reviews are all true, he is not cooperative and the caretaker is very egoistic. And also food was very bad.The rooms are not as clean as the photos. According to me, if you want to book a room at this location, there are many good options nearby. Don’t book this hotel..!

The location of the resort is amazing, the owner is blessed to have such a nice land. The old lady over there is very rude and the younger one very egoistic - looks at the guests as if she is doing a favour by giving the rooms on rent. 1 Star - Just for the location!

I wish I could get change to rate in minus to such worst and pathetic place. No parking , no road to reach to hotel , no SERVICE , no room service instead they said do it by yourself. And took 4000₹ for such pathetic room . Owner has attitude and lot of arrogance of prime location and hence he behaved as he can do anything. They damage our material, tear off clothes and tops . OWNER Vikas ABUSES BADLY TO WOMEN. All we went to water activities so got little late (11.30-12pm) he throw out our all expensive materials and bags and clothes outside, and tear off some clothes , some are thrown out of wall. While asking they were in their own arrogance and rude behaviour. By saying checkout time is 10 am Owner was threading us by saying give me their id card I will show them and see how will they go from here and abusing to all of ladies. Pls don’t visit to such pathetic and rude owners place. Vikas is owner is threading us very badly to all of ladies Service is 0 we asked for floor cleaning the said do it by yourself. We literally have to clean floor by ourselves. Rooms condition are very bad and not maintained at all . Spider nets , unclean floor and rooms

Superb Time We had here and super comfortable Rooms. Very Hospitable People And Very Tasty Food. They cook with a homely touch So no worries for Small kids their tummy will never get upset for sure. They even cook food for your choice if you have small kids. Thanks to the two beautiful hosts. you make the trip so memorable. highly recommend

Recently we visited to Shining Sand Resort,it is a such lovely & beautiful place, clean & quiet area,perfect spot if you want escape from busy city life. Room was very clean & modern, we can see beautiful sea view from cottages, owner was friendly & lovely nature, they served delicious sea food (crabs, kingfish) and also they guided very well for tourist spots. It's perfect place to enjoy your vacations, thank you very much to staff & owner. Next vacation will be there only... 😊👍

Resorts host is very arrogant. She changed the password of Wi-Fi after every 10 mins. Our valuables are not safe. Owner is involved in stealing the things. My daughters costly goggle were stolen during the room cleaning and three days it was with them. Food quality is very worst. If you bring food from outside they will not provide the plates and any service.
