Dr Nimkar's Konkan Nest Resort

Property is perfect mix of Konkan culture and staff behaviour and food was really appreciable. However, rooms were not much clean (P.S. carry room footwear). Food was good but price was higher than local restaurant. The price of property is higher in comparison to room cleanliness. One can get any property at same or lower price. But if one wants to experience konkani home stay, can give it try.

Horrendous experience While the building has an old charming rustic look and is quite appealing but service is just not worth the money charged No resort-like facilities are there, at best it can be termed as a homestay. Hot water was available only for 2-3 hours. The air conditioner was turned off at night without consent. On the third day of the stay the room power was turned off when other guests were not there and there was no power back up. Food service had very limited options. We had to literally beg for the food of our choice and specific details had to be told like how many bread slices and how many eggs should be served Linen was torn, mosquito net had holes Overall very poor hospitality.

A wonderful village life experience in this resort . Staff was very helpful and caring . Services are slow as they have limited rooms and capacity . Clean and hygienic rooms. Home made fresh authentic marathi food . We need to order before . Felt like we lived in pre independence era as shown in movies . A wada like hotel . A must stay if you are looking out for a slow relaxed patient stay . Very peaceful . The floor , brick wall , wooden doors, furniture and warli art made us reminiscent our past life maratha culture .

Had a 2 day stay here. Property is in a secluded area but rooms are nice and gives you old wada vibes but common area needs to be well maintained. Served with delicious konkani dishes like ghavan, amboli, ukidche modak etc. Service was extremely good. They have a big property in which you can roam around and also have a very clean water canal behind the property.

The property needs maintenance but I love the food here, I have come multiple times for breakfast and the food taste, service and overall experience is always good; especially because it is so peaceful and so raw, real and nature is the best part.

We checked in on 6th Dec and checked out on 8 Dec. The room was full of dust and there was no hot water available. Food standard were not up to the mark.

An amazing place to stay in Ganpatipule. It's a lovely maintained wada in the heart of the village. It has 16 rooms of different size that are well maintained. One needs his/her own vehicle for sure. U get an experience of staying in a huge haveli (Wada in Marathi), with modern amenities like AC, bathroom fittings, beds, wifi, etc. Food is excellent. One has to try ukdi che modak for lunch/dinner and thaaleepeeth and pohe for breakfast. The service staff is courteous and helpful. The Manager (Ms Mahajan) made all the comfortable arrangements for us during our visit. The temple is appr 3.5km from this hotel. Certainly a great experience to visit with family as well.

Very Bad experience. No amenities. Bad service. I have to reach them for every small things. Lot of communication gap. I asked them to arrange lunch for us before reaching, but on the spot they denied to provide lunch. No cooperation. Not recommended.
