Chaitraban Resort

These were more like Eco -Cottages. All wooden and have a very subtle earthy décor. Comprising of all necessary amenities such as AC, LED TV, Wardrobe etc. I couldn’t believe my eyes when I stepped into the balcony of the room as the view from the room was breathtaking. All the rooms were surrounded with lush greenery. Each room had a sit out area with a swing chair. Balcony overlooks the sea ( not an immediate sea view. It’s pretty far but it’s very soothing.) Chaitraban has a common dining area which looks very natural and interesting. Food here is delicious!

We visited this authentic rustic konkani resort in Harnai which is uniquely located on a cliff and gives a mesmerizing view of Anjarle. There was pleasant strong breeze throughout the day in the property. We loved the way they have kept mother nature intact around the rooms and yet provided modern plush rooms. We really loved the huge wooden french doors and the linen was clean and crisp. Water supply and electricity was ample. They have an efficient sports room with a table tennis table. The staff is local and everyone works really hard to keep guests happy. The food menu really needs a few more items but I must say that the food is good. Thank you Mr. Dhumal for your attention to detail, we had an amazing holiday and look forward to visiting Chaitrabaan resort in the monsoons.

Country Brands Chaitraban Resort: A well executed ambiance of rustic place. Wooden flooring, furniture. Attention to detail is amazing e.g. they have used lantern styled light with old styled black switches. Perfect.||We stayed in room on top floor which had nice view through big balcony.||You are surrounded with Mango trees all around.|||| Anjrle and Murud beach are within a range of 5km. Plus across the road you have sunset point which offers great panaromic view. Of-course for both things you have to travel a bit, it's not inside their premises.||||BUT||Three important negatives about this place, when we visited:||1. Swimming pool was not operational.||2. The team / staff is courteous and friendly but not so professional.|| e.g. for the breakfast I ordered upma and they denied saying that nobody else has ordered it today so we have not prepared it. So we can only serve Poha!!!! Not rude but not professional either.||3. Access road has steep slope and is in bad shape. It's a task to drive-in or out from their. ||||Conclusion: Could be a BEST PLACE, if they improve upon few things.||Liked the stay though.

Good place for a weekend. Its on top of the mountain with a nice view of both mountains and the sea. The staff is friendly and helpful. The entrance can be identified by the Chaitraban board on the main roads, the resort is a bit down the hill from the entrance with a steep slope.The beach is around 3km away from resort. Recommend for couples.

The location itself is so perfect.. you feel so serene and awesome..The rooms are spacious and has a wooden touch.Staff is very co operative and always enthusiastic to serve you.Food prep's are fantastic.It was one of the best stay for me and my family..|| I went with my wife and 2 kids. The place is perfect for stay in Dapoli.. All places to visit are easily approachable.. it's right opposite to the famous sunset point.

The hotel is located on a lovely hilltop nestled in nature and greenery all around. The view from the hotel is mesmerizing. The rooms are big and spacious and have all the basic amenities. The hotel also has in house restaurant, gym and gamin room for kids. Overall a lovely place for vacation with family.

Stayed here for one night. The place is little difficult to find at night as there is no proper board visible from road and also lighting is not available. But you can easily find it in day light, Rooms were good and the place is quiet. You can bring your own fish/chicken the they will cook it for you. The food they served was really good.

I booked two rooms at the resort from 17th Aug to 19th August. I read many reviews on the web and based on them was looking forward to my stay. However, I found the place to be absolute disappointment . The concept of a resort in dense jungle is good but the upkeep of the property was downright shabby. In one of the rooms false ceiling of bathroom was almost about to collapse. The linen and tapestry was dirty with stains. Pillow covers were having fetid smell. Only solace was that owner Mr. Afnan was very courteous and arranged nice dinner of tasty fish and prawn curry for us. We moved out after the night stay. One more which has to be known is that the property does not have a regular entrance. The drive is on a very steep downward slope . Going up the slope in car is a test of driving skill. All in all, would not like to visit the place again.
