If you are looking for a place to stay on the beach, with good food and comfortable beds this is the place. It's budget friendly so don't expect 5 star rooms, but you have everything to make your stay very comfortable.

It was a horrible experience. Food , Services, Hospitality was not at all good. Had a very bad experience of Karde’s Sagar Sawali. Had been to same hotel in year 2017 and experience was too good. This year again we thought of visiting same place and booked 3 rooms for family trip on 23 may 2024. Writing couple of bad experiences that we faced. 1. We reached hotel well before time but check in time was 12 pm so we knew that will have to wait till 12 but hotel made us wait till 1 pm as the previous guests had not vacated rooms at 12 pm though check out time was 10 am. At around 11:45 I enquired at staff at reception on room availability. I was assured that as per the rule rooms will be made available at 12 pm. After lot reminders, literally after chasing hotel staff got rooms at 1 pm. They had not cleaned rooms properly and gave us a keys in hurry . Again had to chase supervisor Mr Sapkal to get the room cleaned. Finally got rooms at around 1:30 to 1:45pm. Half day had gone waste. 2. Lunch time was also not good. Most of the konkani food items were not available though were mentioned on menu card. Hotel staff made us eat whatever is available with them. 3. Since the lunch experience was not good we thought of placing dinner order soon after the lunch got over. We had placed order for modak , solkadhi. At the time of dinner we were told that modak and solkadhi are not available. Another disappointment, we couldn’t relish konkani special cuisine. 4. Fish fry chakana was ordered around 8 pm served at 10:00 during dinner time. 5. Sweet lime soda ordered at 7:30 pm was served at 9:30 that too after twice remind. 6. Group sitting next table for dinner shared the same experience. So please do re-think before visiting Sagar Sawali at Karde.They really don’t value customers or may be Sagar Sawali which is at Karde is not given proper attention. My experience was very bad and will never recommend this hotel to anyone.

1. No Airtel mobile network and this is not informed during booking ( biggest issue ) and staff literally feels proud of this. 2. WiFi isn’t available in rooms 3. Common/ guest washrooms next to Restaurent area are pathetic dirty which most of us expect to use. The smell of these washrooms even comes on Restaurent. 4. No soap is kept in handwash area of restaurent. 5. Lunch order for food has to be given by 12pm and dinner order by 7pm. If not there is no guarantee u will get food. During lunch and dinner hours guests are still waiting for their food for not less than 45 mins. Don’t even expect any addition order to be served on runtime. Dishes are glasses are stinky and oily. If u come late and your order is ready it’s served cold. 6. At each corner in hotel premises trash is stacked which looks dirty. Not recommended at all for family stay. If you are group of bachelors it’s still ok. Pls check other options in same price range. We checked out of hotel on day one and went to another 1 despite we had 2 nights booking.
