Kelva Beach Resort

HORRIBLE PLACE. If your photographer recommends this place, change the photographer. This resort (shady place) charge you Rs 500 per person just an entry fee. For rooms, they will charge you 2k bucks more with no food. Absolutely shady place. Don't believe on the pics that google shows. Everything is broken. They give free food to photographer and some commission if they bring customers to this place. If you plan to shoot on the beach, local people will charge you Rs 500 more kinda rob you. AVOID VISITING KELVA BEACH AND KELVA RESORT FOR PHOTOGRAPHY.

Very very poorly maintained huge property. Rooms had no TV, (website mentioned it has cable TV and table tennis & other activities). Table tennis was not there. Just look at the pics i have taken and you will get that why we felt cheated. The activities were in broken condition like kids play area (see how it was as good as absent), pool table area, the sofa outside the room etc. ( See the broken lamp, broken patra on jhula sitout) The spring of the sofa was popping out and may have badly hurt us if not noticed by me. (See pic) Only positive was the quality of food, that too was served very late in afternoon (we did lunch at 3pm). There was only 1 hammock. The door of our room was not closing without putting lot of force. The windows were broken. The property had mosquitoes all over which made the stay like hell. Lot of insects were coming in the room in night which made sleeping and going to washroom a nightmare. Even basic things like water and chaddars were not given without asking and water was given on paid basis. Hot water in bathroom also was started when asked. The road to resort was in very bad condition and only possible to access via car, not on foot.

A good place to have an access to the Kelava beach. The resort itself is a beautiful to place for a shoot. They really have a their entrance gate which gives you a very easy access to the beach directly. Rooms are very average and not that comfortable. Hygiene and cleanliness need to be improved as it is very average at the moment. Washroom was having mites and dust everywhere, we have to clean our own washroom. Hot water they do have but little bit old school system. Taps and water pumps are filthy of corrosion. Overall, if you are going for any photoshoot then this is a good option but do not expect much more from the accomodation. Bahadur is a guy who is a care taker over there and is really a genuine & honest person. Overall system they need to improve for smart check in and check out as well the cleaning.

It was just an horrible experience... We went for photoshoot just by looking pictures online, they charged us 2k for room even when we didn't used it also took 500 per person entry fees .lunch charges were not included.The place was so pathetic . Even they took beach entry fees .. if you're looking for this resort i wouldn't recommend this 🙏

Food was good but place is not maintained properly. No cleanliness , not even proper clean washroom. Swings in garden and billiards in play area was broken. there are dangerous red ants near swimming pool. this can be very nice place if maintained properly

Went with family for a weekend and was not disappointed with the property, Property is nice and clean but needs a little maintenance since rooms are made of bamboo looked a little worn. The linen was clean and so were the bathrooms which for me if the most important thing. Food was strictly ok but you wont find many restaurants in the vicinity. The beach is a few minutes walk from the property and nothing much on the beach except for a few vendors who come out in the evenings.

Overall ok , but not maintained properly, only 3 rooms available for rent others are not look after , food is good staff is very helpful and caring, owner should look after, as most come here for photoshoot not worth the money
