MTDC - Tarkarli Resort

While Tarkarli is renowned for its beautiful beaches and serene environment, my recent stay at the MTDC Tarkarli resort was unfortunately less than satisfactory. Here's an honest account of my experience: Room Condition The room I stayed in was not well-maintained. The furniture appeared worn out and the bed sheets had visible stains. Additionally, the bathroom fixtures were rusted, and the overall cleanliness was lacking. Dining Experience The on-site restaurant offered a limited menu, and the food quality did not meet expectations. Service was slow, and the meals were often served cold. Resort Grounds The resort grounds were not well-kept. There was litter scattered around, and the pathways were overgrown, giving an unkempt appearance. Fabulous location Apart from all these issues, the only positive aspect is the amazing location.

1. Excellent location. 2. Decently sized rooms- barely equipped. 3. They don’t have a single hanger or toiletries. 4. The restaurant has decent ambience but the service is crap. Absolutely rubbish-like they tell the guests to do their own service, fill up their own bottles, etc. 5. The restaurant is average at best- a better option was Sunita near Dandi beach. Overall the experience was average and definitely not the worth the steep price

The resort is situated on the sea bed, beautifully location, average maintained rooms, but worth the money. Although, one problem the chef of the restaurant will serve you same gravy for mix veg, paneer tikka masala and butter chicken. The breakfast buffet is also tasteless. It is advised to book it for views, but do not eat from their restaurants, it is pricy and not tasty

- Poor Maintanenece of Rooms. - Frequent Electricity cut-outs, even the basic amenities such as Fridge, telephone connections are poorly maintained. - Bad Food Quality and Staff Service - Apart from the Location of the Resort, there is nothing that one can enjoy. NOT RECOMMENDED.

Rooms are spacious. Service is slow but good. Very limited breakfast options are here. Location and safety is key.. They also have a sports resort..it's 4 km away. Overall expensive but ok for families

The only great part of this resort is the location. Fabulous view of the sea. The service is just pathetic. We asked for towels but didnt get the same. The restaurant manager is too egoistic and not interested in serving. Room service is not available. Lots and lots of mosquitoes all around the resort. Please reconsider your options. Lots of other options available in the vicinity with great food and service.

This property in Tarkarli is one of the best. They are a little slow in their service. But the food in their in-house restaurant is delicious and reasonable. A complete peace of mind.

We booked the resort on Friday to Sunday. It was one of the best experiences that we had at MTDC. The sea is just a few steps away from the property. The service is good. Even we don't have a vehicle, one of the staff offered his bike to see the nearby location ( he charges very minimum i.e. 500 per day). About the food, the food was good, but not up to the mark. If you are visiting off season then please note that the options are limited. Inform your order at least 1 hour before having a food The staff is very cooperative and will really help you. Overall it's one of the best resorts the MTDC has. Must visit
