Govekar Beach Resort

One of the best homestays I've ever been to . Rooms are well equipped, clean and spacious. There are all modern amenities along with a homely konkan house touch . Mr govekar and his family are amazing people who give their all to the customers . Mrs govekar makes the best malvani food !! A must stay 💜❤❤

This is my second visit to Govekar Resort. The resort is very nice and close to Chivla Beach. Chiwla Beach is in front of the resort. The owner of this resort, Mr.Mangesh is very gentle and helps immediately in case of any need. The resort also offers excellent home-cooked meals and snacks.

I wont consider this as a home stay as well, calling it beach reasort n all is way too far for me. We booked this so called beach resort (two rooms) for 3 days. Only good thing was the location and nothing else. They were not interested to know what their guests want or need. Behavior was full of attitude and rudeness. 2500 for per ac room is just not worth and only one rooms ac were working. When we complained about it they said it wont work and charged same as ac room. We need to ask them to cut down the charges for it and that too forcefully. Mrs. Govekar literally asked us to wash the used plates and return them. Faces were made when asked to clean rooms. And that too they clean only once in 3 days. No room service provided and on top of that their rude behavior pissed us off like hell. Their hospitality accont is totally nil. Rather they should look out for another business instead of this. I wont prefer rating this even 1 star but have no option. Minus ratings are also not worth for this.

Worst Homestay experience ever. They just don't care about their guests. No facility of drinking water, they don't clean rooms regularly, n they did it only when we told them to do. In our 3 nights stay the room was cleaned only once. Floor mats were not changed even on informing. Bedsheets weren't changed. In short they are not professional and they just don't know anything about hospitality.
