Coastal Cottage Chivala Beach

A very warm and pleasant homestay during our trip, I usually don't write reviews but this trip was very special in many ways. Beach is hardly at 50 mtr distance, you can hear the waves from room and a clean and well maintained spacious room. Best home-cooked food , most peaceful beach chivala , and a very friendly and helpful host Anish Mayekar. He helped us with our shopping also. Not only Anish is friendly, his neighbours also became our friends in our 2 nights stay. My 8 year old daughter found her pet friend in the neighbourhood and she felt so comfortable that she wasn't ready to come back without her pet friend. We have already planned our next stay with them. They treat their guests as family. I have left a piece of heart there due to the hospitality.

Time in Malvan A beautiful small place to spend peaceful time, beaches all over but no shacks. Costal cottage stay being just 200mtrs away from beach we didn’t even feel the need of shacks over there. Cleanly maintained room with good beds and washroom. Most important thing that anyone would love about this stay is the hospitality showed by the Host Anish, can’t thank enough for him to make our trip safe and enjoyable. One won’t miss the home made food and non veg lovers would feel great to taste the fish dishes cooked and served in the stay. All the fishes used for cooking will be fresh. Host will guide us on places to visit , activities to do that’s one more important thing which reduces the searching time for visitors. Overall would like to say we didn’t have any problems at stay and there was not even one negative point to say. An amazing budget friendly stay and feel free to contact for further details.

Great Stay.. Homely feeling. Owner Mr. Anish Mayekar is very friendly & helpful. Food was very delicious made by Anish's mother. She is blessed with good cooking taste, in Marathi we call it as "Sakshat Annapurna". Njoyed my holiday at Chivla :-)

Definately a 5* rating from us. Anish Mayekar the owner is such a friendly person, he made us feel Just like we were one of his own. His mother is a sweetheart and makes delicious food. Make sure you eat there If you visit. I know where I'm going to stay next whenever I vist Malvan again, it's going to be COASTAL COTTAGE CHIVALA BEACH.

"Mayekar's Costal Cottage"......Awesome hospitality which make our stay a homely by the young dynamic.....humble owner Anish Mayekar. Going out of the way in helping you and make your stay and comforts memorable. They help you arranging for all sort things like rent 2 wheeler, adventure activities, etc and these all things sure are not forcefully impose on you (its rare in hospitality these days) . The property is just a seconds away from Chivla beach and has 2 rooms are freshly built and are recommended if going with family or friends. They have open compound with sand on floor were kids can enjoy building sand forts 😊 . Though they do not have a restaurant but provide home cooked breakfast & Tea which is delicious. Their are lots of Restaurants near by who serve good Veg. & Non-veg food. Rock Garden and Market all are in the range of 10-20 mins walk from here & they help you arranging rickshaw to reach your destination. The rates are a very reasonable, consider given the location and the hospitality of owners. Sure "Mayekar's Costal Cottage" has become a permanent destination whenever we visit Malvan.

The Hotel is located very close to chivala beach which is less than 1 minute. Excellent place for families and Friends. Rooms are clean and maintain properly. I could wish to visit again and recommend to friends......

Perfect home stay, walkable from beach. Anish is one stop solution for all you questions. Best suited with friends as well as families. Awesome home made authentic malvani food.
