NillPerfect place surrounded by nature ! It is a great spot to relax and enjoy in jungle vibes. We a group of friends visited on weekend. The Dorm was clean and well maintained. Food was just awesome. Both Veg and Non-veg preparations are tasty. Ambience was amazing. Completely surrounded by greenery. Swimming pool was huge & clean. Lots of games to play in game room. One can find pool table, carrom, table tennis, fussball [table football] & soo on. The kitchen staff was supportive and provided the perfect food with perfect taste. Also the owner, manager & other staff was supportive & are of helping nature. There are many spots in the resort for photo lovers for capturing Memories. Right from the Almighty Ganpati Bappa to Swinging Bridge to Lush Green surrounding everything was perfect. Overall Best Experience. Thank You Jungle Retreat Resort for making our trip stunning and memorable.

NillJungle Retreat Resort is a place back of beyond, near a village called Thana. Though called "Jungle Retreat Resort" there are no jungle safaris nor any Jungle around. There is no jungle. If you need a place just to chill out, it MAY be a place for you.We had reached much before the check-in time. It was nice of Management to offer us one room to us all to relax till the check-in time. Plenty of trees flanking the pathways of the property. Fair-sized pond with a swinging bridge. Quite a few goldfish in the pond. There is a centrally located circular gazebo near the pond. Nice place to sit around. There is a swimming pool. Changing and shower rooms for gents and ladies are again modelled to look like a rocky hill and caves. We did not go for a swim, but the pool water did not look too clean. Twin-sharing cottages which have names. Our cottage was called Bahubali. The room is quite spacious, with a small attached place with sofa sets where people can sit around. The bathroom was OK. A typical local cuisine vegetarian lunch and non-vegetarian dinner was served. Service and food was satisfactory. After dinner, despite our reluctance, the staff was insisting on serving us extra plates of rasgullas. On our continued refusal, they owned up they wanted "tips" hence the offer for extra sweet. While at dinner we were also asked whether we wanted an omelette/Bread or an Indian dish like uppma/ poha etc. We told them they we wanted "OMLETTE & BREAD FOR BREAKFAST".After dinner, I asked them to provide me with an electric kettle and wherewithals to prepare tea/ coffee in the morning as I get up very early, around 4:30/ 5:00 am and need a cup of tea/ coffee before getting ready to go for my morning walk. Others wanted the tea/ coffee after 6 AM. They did not provide us with an electric kettle because they ASSURED to provide us, with tea/ coffee at WHICHEVER TIME WE WANTED IT TO BE SERVED.The next morning, 4:30 came and went, and 5:00 came and went, but there was no sign of tea or coffee. I got ready and went to the restaurant to check what is going on. there was not a soul to be found. Gradually, everyone was awake and ringing up/ going around in search of tea/ coffee or the staff. Could not find either the staff or tea/coffee. Eventually, around 8 AM we were told there was no milk and offered black tea/coffee if we wanted it. Around 9:AM went for breakfast. We were served an omelette but no bread/toast. We were informed that THERE WAS NO BREAD AVAILABLE IN THE HOTEL. This was ridiculous, appalling, and totally unacceptable state of affairs for any sort of establishment in the hospitality business particularly in the case of Jungle Retreat Resort which is charging such a high tariff. This was totally unacceptable and arguments ensued. Eventually "Allo Sabjee and Parotha" were served to us as breakfast. All this while there was NO sign of tea or Coffee. We were not served a single cup of tea or coffee from the time we got up at 4:30 AM till 11:00 AM. As we were checking out We were told that milk has been brought from Umred town to provide us with tea/coffee. By then we were so fed up that none of us took any!Management came out with mitigating circumstances. As the Retreat has been operating in the same locality area, the reasons given were not acceptable to us. Alternate arrangements/ provisioning is a must and should have been thought of by the management. For the facilities, services and food provided, which were all average, and the fiasco on checkout day, I feel we did not get value for money. y.

NillBeautiful property ruined it's charm just because of pathetic Management Team. Specially, a so called Manager is very rude in nature. Very poor food service, it took 2 hours to get our breakfast. And taste is also very bad. Too much oil in food, two of our dishes is with heavy salt.. Poor quality food and when complaint to manager, he was saying.. This is the food we serve.. If you want to eat then eat or your choice..

NillWe were a group of 20 plus people who enjoyed this beautiful property. I must say that the resort looks green and well maintained. The rooms are big and can accommodate a family of 4. The swimming pool is well maintained and our dance party was quite enjoyable too. We were unhappy with the service. They don't have room service and neither do they have a kettle in the room which is a pre requisite for all hotels now, I feel. They promised tea /coffee from 6am onwards but we were told that since the cook is asleep, we had to wait till 8. Very shocking response considering this is 'hospitality' industry. They do not compromise on any addition to the menu for lunch...something as simple as anda curry was also denied. The food is very oily and not that tasty either.

NillApart from cottages, property is not well maintained. Swimming pool had dirty water and flees in it; so was not in usable state. Food and service was below average with one of the staff members (so called assistant manager) being very rude and disrespectful. Lack of staff made life of other staff members miserable. Took 1 hour to get a cup of coffee at 10 am in the morning as kitchen had limited inventories and staff had to go buy the coffee outside resort. You wont get snacks on order after 9 pm as it’s a dinner time. Food won’t be served after 10 pm. Not recommend worth spending INR 7000 + taxes per couple for one night.

NillVery good place just 1 shortcoming; toilet smells bad but it was clean though. Nice swimming pool. Ok sports room. Ground for cricket. Surrounding & ambiance is good. Food was awesome. We were 25 people so opted for 2 dometry. Each one can accommodate 12 people. Overall worth the money.
