Shaant Beach Resort

Wonderful property, however service is very bad. Although we checked in on friday afternoon the swimming pool was extremely dirty and unusable and was cleaned up only on the NEXT DAY and we couldn’t use the pool one entire day. The exit to the sea is closed and is now being used as a garbage dump. Rooms and food is below average, no hot water available. Fans and air conditioners badly maintained, making noise at unacceptable levels. Rigid timings and rules and regulations gave a feel of being more in a hostel rather than resort. Rules and regulations were applicable only for the guests. Rude, arrogant and lazy staff.

Today is our second day at Shaant resort which was referred by our friend who had visited it about 4-5 years back. While the food and facilities were good, rooms were not clean and unhygienic with lots of mosquitoes. AC was also not working properly (no cooling). Bathrooms were dirty and seemed to have not been cleaned for ages. The beach is not accessible as claimed on the site as it's a rocky beach (no sand with rocky tetrapods). Please consider these factors and check latest reviews before visit.

Waste of money and time. Except huge property and swimming pool you will not find any thing here. Found spider net all over room when we entered even on the table and behind the bed. We struggled to sleep due to non availability of electricity. After every minute AC was getting switched off, no wifi, no TV, not even cells found in remote. When called for same it was rude behavior over call. Food was decent. Unsatisfied and waste of money.

Great resort went their for destination wedding of friend. Enjoyed the night pool party and had fun with DJ. Morning it was serene due to property located just beside beach.

Actually 2.5 stars. Location is quite amazing. We enjoyed the Beach side scenery’s. Peppery is big. Food is authentic but starters were missing in lunch and dinner also. Overall had a great time with office colleagues.

Shantanu the owner is very warm and helpful. He is accommodating and helps out for the best experience. The staff were welcoming and helpful as well. The experience is worth it. Can visit with family and friends.

We went for a buffet lunch. It was a terrible experience. Cold food was served and the taste was bland. I would in particular like to mention Puran Poli and Jalebi,both were tasteless. The food spread was also untidy. If compared with the price it was not VFM
