SEA VIEW RESORT TARKARLI

One of the best places to stay in Tarkarli! We were a group of 20 people and had an absolutely wonderful time here. The hospitality was exceptional, and the service was prompt and friendly throughout our stay. The food deserves a special mention — both the vegetarian thalis and the fresh fish delicacies were delicious and authentically prepared. Whether you're a seafood lover or prefer vegetarian options, there's something to please every palate. The overall experience was memorable, and we would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Tarkarli.

great location...."The hotel is conveniently located within a 5-minute walk of the main square and several excellent restaurants". Staff Interaction:- helpfulness, friendliness Room Quality: "clean" and "The room was spacious and well-appointed, with comfortable bedding and a modern bathroom with a strong shower". Amenities: "refreshing atmosphere" Food and Drink: "The restaurant offered a great selection of local dishes, and the service was excellent". My experience in this property was the best till now. I visited almost 10 times in Tarkarli and never experienced such good service because all family members looking after this property and it's management not like other lodge or hotel where it is left on the mercy of hired servants. As both the sons of landlord done hotel management and we'll experienced. First I saw the post of dec 2016 where a person said it's managed by family this in no time I booked this property. I am fond of quality food and cleanliness and I found here both genuinely. However quantity of food were less but variety was enough and quality was top notch as it is cooked by owners family and not by any hired maid. They ask you in advance what you want to have in meal, so we brought jack fruit and they cooked it also aunty helped my daughter to broke crab into pieces and removed small bony lines from fish as I had no idea how to do it. I saw they denied group of bachelors and unmarried couples which impressed me as they are not behind money and made my stay calm and peaceful. Beach is very close almost 200 meters from water line to compound. My pet Golden retriever was allowed in the room to stay and been served boiled chicken and rice at room with nominal charges. Landowner is retired from ONGC Mumbai and designed this facility very well thus I got huge room as compared to rooms in other lodges in Tarkarli. Cigarette smoking and alcohol consumption are not allowed that is the best for a family.

Stayed here for 3 days in may 2024. The location is amazing bang opposite the beach. The rooms are clean, big spacious fully air conditional. Inspite of power cuts The acs worked in summer heats. The food is yummy and prepared on short notice . The support staff is helpful and courteous. The water sports activities are conducted in near vicinity and the boats pick you for the rides Overall had a wonderful experience

We stayed here for 2 days in the month of December 24. Their service was good and the main thing is that it is very close to the beach, considering the charges during the pic season, facilities provided were very good.

Well maintained property. Very close to beach. Rooms are large but expensive. At that price point they even don't provide packed drinking water at rooms. One thing that I absolutely don't like about this property is canteen. Canteen functions only between 8AM to 2 PM and 6PM to 10 PM. We checked in at 3PM so we had to wait for a water bottle till 6PM. Next morning their was our scuba activity but we didn't even get cut of tea till 8.30 AM. Even they have very limited options in menu which are very average in taste. Canteen staff was unfriendly and non cooperative.

I have visited this place for more than 10 yrs. They never fail to deliver. Fantastic ambience. Good food. Clean sea shore just across the road. I will keep visiting till they are open. All the very best and cheers. Update: the kitchen management changed from 2022. The service and the food hasn't been like it was before. The stay and beach experience is still good. But I might consider staying at a different place as food is very important to me.
