Sunshine Beach Resort

I had one of the most horrible and unacceptable experiences at Sunshine Beach Resort. Honestly, this place doesn’t even deserve a single star. We had booked this resort for 2D/1N from 25/04/2026 (5 PM) to 26/04/2026 for a group of 13 adults and 3 kids, expecting a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Instead, it turned into a complete nightmare. We were allotted 2 AC deluxe rooms, but both ACs were completely non-functional — there was no cooling at all. We immediately informed the staff at check-in, but they gave a casual and irresponsible response saying the AC would work once the generator starts at night. Trusting their word, we waited outside near the pool for hours. Even after midnight, nothing changed. The AC kept tripping every 5 minutes and was practically useless. This issue continued till almost 5 AM. Despite repeated complaints, no proper action was taken and no alternate rooms were provided. The only ridiculous “solution” they offered was to keep on changing electric connection — which clearly shows how poorly managed and incapable this place is. We have literally spend the entire night outside the room, which is absolutely unacceptable, especially with childrens in the group. The staff and management were extremely rude and unprofessional. The manager kept saying “I’m doing my best” without actually doing anything, and even arrogantly mentioned that he has been “servicing for 12 years,” as if that justifies such pathetic service. Experience clearly means nothing here. To make things worse, around 3 AM, instead of resolving the issue, the manager told us to vacate the resort if we were not satisfied. This was shocking, disrespectful, and completely unacceptable behavior towards guests in the middle of the night. Even the owner’s attitude was disappointing and showed zero concern for guests. Yes, the food was decent and the rooms looked fine visually, but that means nothing when the basic service, management, and hospitality are this poor. This resort is highly unprofessional, badly managed, and not worth your money at all. I strongly recommend everyone to avoid this place unless you want to ruin your trip and deal with irresponsible staff and horrible service. Reply to owner.... We were ready to make the payment with negotiable amount, even after getting the worst service... And the owner staying default insist we adjusted 12 hours without AC, why will we pay entire amount, when got the room on 26th April at 11am... Attached is the image of same booking, were we informed the resort owner regarding the AC complaint and owner dis not even turn up next day morning for the concern, please check the time of complaint informed. And the owner is expecting the payment from us... Not only Adult, but the kid of age group from 2 to 6 years have also suffered to heat.

I had a wonderful stay at Sunshine Beach Resort. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff was polite, friendly, and always ready to help. The service was excellent, and the overall experience exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend this Sunshine Beach Resort to anyone looking for a comfortable and pleasant stay. I will definitely visit again!

1. Rooms were very unclean and not ready when we came. We were made to wait for hours until we got rooms.|2. They were informed that our group has girls but they still hosted a huge group of very drunk and smoking men|3. Some of the rooms were completely infested with ants and other insects and even when they knew of our reservation, they hadn't cleaned them. |4. Doormats absent so we couldn't wipe our feet and the room floors kept getting muddy.|5. Washrooms have open window with no screens or grills or something to cover.|6. No wash basin, working faucets and jet spray, clothes hooks and door latch in washrooms. In some of them, the latch came in hand when we tried to bolt the door.|7. Lights above the pool area were completely off due to short circuit which had not been fixed. The faulty wiring makes it dangerous for everyone, both staff and guests around the pool.|8. There were no lights in the upper storey and they put up halogen lights which wasn't enough |9. We had to have dinner in complete darkness with a couple of candles for light |10. Dining area had a problem was waterlogging |11. The buildings weren't complete constructions and most of it seemed still under construction and had water leakage in some parts|12. Food was also very spicy and some from our group couldn't eat. Taste was average.|13. The tables were not even cleaned properly.|14. There was overbooking and 2-3 resorts in the area share the same pool. |15. There was too much chlorine or chemical in the pool water which burned our eyes when we got into the water|16. Although the owner was polite, they didn't understand the sensitivity of the situation and what a group with women would need

Just had an bad experience in vasai Virar. Ps: The owner was very arrogant I have booked deluxe room for 24hrs after reading good reviews after booking they said we don't have TV in deluxe room I got shocked. After checkin the room was good but AC was not working properly till evening and also the fan was not working properly as asked owner he said there is electricity problem we agreed and said to change the room as we can't stay without AC cooling in reply they said we don't have room and this is the best room we have given you. We said to check AC as of we are paying for deluxe we can't expect to stay without AC and Fan. This problem still continued till next day morning And at night the electricity was gone for more than 3-4 hrs and after calling the owner they have started genarator at 5:45 am means the amount which I have invested for deluxe room experience was wasted. After complaining while checkout the owner literally denied arrogantly that this is not there problem as a customer what should I expect in return lil bit discount due to this discomfort for 24hr and owners just denied arrogantly.

Seriously guys hectic resort dont come with your family over here they overcharged for this but not given proper service extremely rubbish resort don't know how to fullfill customer order and we are 9 member visited at 18 july 2026 and check out is 19 July 2026 this hospitality don't provide water at night after 1 am and won't get food also at night for my family ad we have told managment to keep only dal rice also do but there is no food seriously pathetic service i will not suggest anyone to visit sunshine beach resort and after having party at room i havr told managment to clean room but no one respond so don't visit this place
