Dera Jawai

I am an American traveling in India and we experienced a Leopard Safari with Dera Jawai that was so lovely. We had our own beautiful cared for houses with silk cloth tent ceilings. The food was so super delicious and served in such an elegant way, that alone was worth the stay. The staff are so helpful and are there to support you in anyway possible. Then going out in the jeep to look for the leopards in beautiful nature, with these other worldly rock formations, was so enjoyable. Then at dusk we saw 3 beautiful leopards free and climbing up the rocks. They were pretty far away, so I could enjoy them and their freedom without feeling fearful. This was a wonderful adventure for our little group.

Food was awesome, many thanks to the cook and support staff. Special thanks to Chatlaram who roams in proper rajasthani traditional dress. Rooms and service are outstanding. Also we got special arrangements made for the bonfire 🔥. All the staff are polite and understanding. Enjoyed a lot.

The stay was amazing and fabulous Property is very clean and hygienic and quality of the tent is very nice. Every staff member was polite and very helpful. They even arrange milk for my toddler in the morning at 5.00 am. The camp manager Abhishek ji was a wonderful host. We felt like a proper jungle stay. very calm and scenic property. Food is amazing. Full marks for hospitality I strongly recommend this place.

We researched on multiple resorts and finally zeroed in on *Dera Jawai*. It was purely based on random Google search and hence, we were not very sure of what to expect. We called up Mr Ravi Ranawat and he was more than supportive in helping up with the booking and promised us once in a lifetime experience. There was a sense of excitement but also a level of skepticism for we didn’t choose it by word of mouth. As we neared our destination, we started getting a vibe of what was to ensue. As we moved from the pakka roads to the kutcha raastas, the outside noise made way to the pure calm and quiet. And Dera Jawai didn’t disappoint. Nestled in an area five minutes from the Rock Safari spot, this place is no less than a home away from home. Just six rooms (four tents and two cottages) are a symbol of how they prioritise personalised experiences over other things. ||As we entered the resort, we got a very warm welcome by Mr Abhishek. That first meet said it all. His calm approach helped shed all our doubts. We got a beautiful tent in no time! ||The show-stopper at the resort was the lip-smacking food. With the kind of foodies my family and I are, we can just do nothing but keep on hogging on the wonderful native dishes served by the ever pleasant Sakla Ram ji, a fatherly figure whose “welcome / belcome” came with so much of cuteness and warmth! ||And how can we forget the most important part of our visit - the Safaris. We had arranged for two safaris and later on decided to add a third one - Mr Ravi and Mr Abhishek were kind enough to help us with the last minute request!! ||We were lucky to witness leopards in all the three safaris, and all three, differently. In the first one, we witnessed a female leopard with two cubs from a distance. In the second one, we witnessed a sub-adult male leopard up close. In the third one, it was almost post sunset and we witnessed the sub-adult strolling through the rocks and finally sitting like a king on top of a Rock, with all lights on him, making him a rock-star (pun intended). Our safari guys were also quite supportive - Abhimanyu, Parbat Singh and Dhanu, again all different with differing strengths. Abhimanyu focussed more on the Rock Safari, Parbat Singh was adventurous and ensured we get glimpses of even the wild jungle cat and rabbits while ensuring leopard sighting and Dhanu showing patience post sunset to help us see the Rock-star!! All this again was possible because of the efforts put in by Dera Jawai staff and Mr Ravi and Mr Abhishek! ||My 11 year old boy had an experience of a lifetime and we are surely coming back, soon! Thanks for a wonderful experience Dera Jawai! ❤️❤️

My experience in Dera jawai is best , no reason any tips for all services is good and atmosphere natural in Tent inside and outside, |Thanks to Chef is very beautiful and testy food. Test is awesome |Thanks to Mr.Abhishek he is very professional and soft nature.||One line suggest all of tourist please one time stay in Dera jawai ||All experience is Very Very Good.

I been there with friends and the moment you enter in the hotel you will get a proper jungle|Feeling. Quality of tents is very nice and I love the washroom ( big and clean ). They have dog called Carlos 🐶. Do try there special|Lauki ki sabzi amazing fish never has such tasty sabzi like this. The best part was Dera Jawai Signaute jeep Safari. Amazing experience.

Comfertabe stay , delicious food and Amazing host.||Location is very peace full,great feel of the jungle. We had a wonderful jeep safari and spotted two leopards and crocodiles. ||This property gives you camp like feels ||||I strongly recommend this place for a lovely and experienced stay

Nestled in Jiwda, this resort was an absolute treat to stay at. Beautiful, cozy rooms, delicious homestyle food and a staff that takes care of your every need! Thank you Ravi, Abhishek, Kailash, Anshraj and Sakalaram for a wonderful time. I highly recommend Dera Jawai for your next wildlife vacation!
