Vinayak Desert Camp

I'm giving 4 star just bcoz services and room size is good. Booked the deluxe tent, quite spacious. We arrived early, and when I called the manager to let him know, he initially refused any services, even water, with rude behavior. However, once we arrived, he was more pleasant, and the overall service was excellent. The cultural program was enjoyable. On the downside, the included camel ride was very short, less than 5 minutes, and the jeep safari was more of a pick-up and drop-off in the desert. Jeep safari was good, but the camel ride felt like a scam. Breakfast was good, but the dining experience lacked taste.

Vinayak Desert Camp has no Roadside sign board. It's mentioned RJ 14, Sanatan Desert Camp on its Roadside Board, Appearance of cottage is not good but comfort inside the tent is so so. Folk Dance and Songs Program may be improved. It's an Economy Camp some outside desert.

Very pleased with their hospitality and service. Friendly staff, clean rooms and overall beautiful atmosphere around the camp. Good quality food variety and options. Also,enjoyed their cultural program a lot. Had an amazing experience staying here. Must visit for your next trip!!

We were on a 9-day family vacation in Rajhasthan and stayed here. Manager ( Mr. Swaroop Singh ) was extremely helpful, friendly and always engaing his staff to help guests and their family. I really appreciate the care he takes of his guests. The property as a whole looks great and spacious. The tent we stayed was not clean. My only feedback to the owners and staff is to clean, was the tent. Food options were limited but good. The culture program late in the night was okay, but could be improved with a variety of cultural events. But those who performed were just awesome. We also did Camel Safari, Jeep Safari and Dirt Bike Ride organized through the hotel staff. Those were good, but expensive. I still recommend this property for any family stay.

Budget friendly stay. Stay in tent was really a great experience. They have arranged folk dance and music event for the guest before dinner. They guided and help us arrange Jeep safari and dessert adventure rides. Food was very tasty. Neat and clean tent. Toilet set-up is also good. Toilet is also neat and clean. We got this Desert camp through Real desert man camel safari.

WARNING : DO NOT GO THERE EVER, especially with family worst new year experience ever, very bad facilities, very bad tent, poorly managed and dirty washrooms, very bad crowd and very unpleasant and unwelcoming behavior of the staff. Worst experience ever and never go there.

Not a good experience. Rooms not clean. Loose electric wires everywhere in the so called camp. Food variety is very limited . Kids have eaten Maggi on both days. Staff arrogant . Person at reception not professional. Overall a very bad experience. Don't go here.

Pros - Good food, good night show, spacious tents Cons - camel ride wasn't as told earlier. It was just of 5 min and 2 people on 1 camel instead of individual ride promised. No provision to reach desert from camp. We have to take own car. Geyser capacity is very very less. In winter you won't get hot water because of this.
