The Sher Garh

We stayed in this resort for two nights and it was the best experience during our visit of India. The room, restaurant and gardens were well-maintained and kept clean. The staff was very hospitable and kind to all of their guests. We had breakfast, lunch and dinner included for our stay and all the food was delicious and freshly cooked. The staff in the restaurant made sure we won't leave hungry. ||During our stay we had two safaris in the Ranthambore National Park. The staff took this into account for the included dining in the resort. We were provided with coffee, tea and crackers in the very early morning before the first safari. The staff even gave us blankets that saved us from the cold temperatures in the morning. For lunch, we arranged to have it earlier than usual, in order to be able to go to the afternoon safari well fed. ||The rooms are well decorated and very spacious. The bed in our room was soft, which is not often encountered in India. We had a good sleep there. The rest of the amenities in the room were as expected for a 4-star hotel. ||Thank you for this great stay!

Extremely basic. In my room lights did not work, fridge did not work and tv did not work. Reported it but same for second and last night. Towels were threadbare and it was very dusty. Meals were not nice at all, and I recommend the staff go on a hygiene course. We were doing a tour around India and by far this was the worst hotel. The setting is nice and the pool was also good. Had a spa treatment and it was very good but the ambience of that area needs improving also. The hotel is in a nice setting but a lot of maintenance and staff training is needed

We stayed at the The Shergarh as part of a larger tour of Rajasthan, with the purposes of visiting Ranthambore. |It was very comfortable, set in beautiful surroundings, and had a lovely pool in the garden which some of our group used. The food is included and all buffets. There was a nice variation for breakfast, lunch and dinner.|The rooms were large and the bed was comfortable. There was good aircon and tea & coffee facilities.|There was also a lovely clothes and souvenir shop in the grounds which is well worth a visit. |I would definitely stay there again if I was going to Ranthambore.

Absolutely amazing place to stay, accommodation fabulous and staff so attentive. We had all the meals included, which was excellent as all the food was lovely. The grounds are kept impeccable and the pool is by far the best we have seen whilst in India. An absolute Oasis.

We spent two nights here. The staff were delightful esp the waiters who couldn’t have been more helpful. Great food. Very nice clean pool - essential after a hot safari. Comfortable spacious rooms. The owner really wanted his guests to have a good time. It is close to zone one and half hour drive to zone ten.

Staff exceptional nothing was too much trouble for them. They were always around, making a packed breakfast for us as we left early. |Accommodation cosy and comfortable. |Food lovely with a nice bar area. Plenty of choice too. We were late back from our safari and they made us fresh omelettes. |Clean pool area.

Excellent in every way! The management, staff, food, and service were all exceptional. The gift shop was particularly wonderful. The rooms were clean, beds comfy, and grounds well kept. I went with a group of 30 for tiger viewing! I highly recommend it!

When you think of a resort in India, the SherGarh is everything you picture in your mind. Lush gardens, beautiful accommodation, friendly staff and a sparkling pool. The food in the dining room was of good quality. We can't praise this property highly enough.
