I had an amazing stay at Kohinoor Desert Camp, Sam Jaisalmer, and the experience was truly memorable. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed warmly by the staff, whose hospitality and friendliness made me feel at home. The tents were clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with all the necessary amenities, ensuring a pleasant stay. The evening cultural program was one of the highlights of the trip. The traditional folk music and mesmerizing Kalbelia dance performances beautifully showcased the rich culture of Rajasthan. The desert safari and the breathtaking sunset over the golden sand dunes created unforgettable memories. The delicious Rajasthani dinner, combined with the peaceful atmosphere under the starry sky, made the experience even more special. What impressed me the most was the courteous and helpful staff, who went above and beyond to ensure that every guest had a wonderful time. Kohinoor Desert Camp – Mixed Experience I haven’t visited other desert camps, so I can’t compare Kohinoor with them. This is purely based on my personal experience. The staff was very polite, cooperative, and helpful. Special mention to Qadir Khan, who was hardworking and provided quick service. The staff also made genuine efforts to keep families comfortable and manage the crowd. There is a lot of negative talk about bringing families here because of the drinking culture. I visited with my family and honestly, I did not feel unsafe or extremely uncomfortable. Drinking is common, but there is a designated area for it, and guests cannot simply sit in the front rows or anywhere they want with drinks. The staff was actively managing this. The cultural programme was very good, although a few guests were getting too close to the dancers, which made it difficult for the performers to perform freely. The main negatives were cleanliness, food, and maintenance. The bedsheets and pillow covers were dirty, the bathroom had a strong smell, and the shower was not working properly. The evening snacks and breakfast were also very disappointing. Food quality and hygiene definitely need improvement. Overall, a mixed experience. The staff deserves appreciation for their polite behaviour and efforts to manage everything, but the camp needs to seriously improve cleanliness, bedding, bathrooms, food quality, and hygiene.

The experience at Kohinoor Camp, Jaisalmer was not satisfactory. The service quality was poor, and the cultural dance performance was not up to expectations. The food quality was also below standard. Additionally, the rooms were not properly cleaned and maintained. Overall, the stay did not meet our expectations. I would like to clarify that the booking was made and the stay was completed on 4th June. The feedback was submitted only after experiencing all the services provided at the camp. Our review is based on our actual stay and observations, including the quality of service, food, cultural program, and room cleanliness. Therefore, stating that no booking exists is incorrect. Kindly verify your records for the booking dated 4th June at Kohinoor Camp, Jaisalmer, and address the concerns raised in the feedback accordingly.
