Desert Gateway Resorts

The resort was in a very bad condition, it was very dirty fully opposite to as shown in the picture.They are charging so high but their service was pathetic 1. The overall resort was in very bad condition 2. For us dinner and breakfast was included but we regret that ,it was so tasteless and unhygienic 3.The cultural show was too boring, audience was not involved and felt too bored. 4.The swiming pool was very dirty and the water in seems to be not changed since ages. 5.Location was good 6.Room was okay, washroom was clean 7. When we enquired for Safari with them they were asking to pay double amount, which we did in a very affordable price from the local vendors 8.Jaislmer has full scam season this time and each and every business person is whole heartedly promoting the scam so please beware.

The resort was below average overall. The room was acceptable, but there was an issue in the bathroom where water accumulated near the entry door. The food quality was poor, and the dining room where meals were served was not clean, which was disappointing. The cultural program was also below average and did not meet expectations. Overall, the stay was unsatisfactory and needs significant improvement.

Absolutely worse possible place to spend your 31st dec. This is what they said is a family place and a few times a few people fought, ladies had to turn back, food was worse. They charge around 20k per room for 31st and in the party they dont even provide water let alone anything else. Food is terrible, peanuts served as appetizers. Absolutely NOT RECOMMENDED! Service sucks big time.

Very bad experience at Desert Gateway Resort! We stayed with two families in Omen Luxury Suite and Swiss Cottage — both rooms were in horrible condition. Photos shown online are fake, no amenities, poor food, and worst washrooms. Don’t waste your money here. Many better resorts are available opposite Sam Dunes — check rooms personally before booking. Don’t trust ratings, read negative reviews! (For reference, photos attached.)

I stayed with my family and booked three cottage rooms. Despite the photos they shared with us before booking, which are available on all platforms, the reality is completely different. It's a better choice to stay in a 1-star hotel than at the Desert Gateway resort. The room and bathroom are not clean. Going with family or a couple is not recommended.
