Amritara Palash, Jawai

We had a wonderful stay at Jawai Palash Resort and would highly recommend it. One of the biggest highlights for us was that it is a pure vegetarian resort, and the food was absolutely exceptional—fresh, delicious, and thoughtfully prepared. Every meal exceeded our expectations. The service was excellent throughout our stay. A special mention to Overall, Jawai Palash Resort offers great hospitality, amazing food, and an unforgettable wildlife experience. We would love to visit again.

nprofessional Staff and Complete Lack of Basic Services – Avoid Amritara Palash Jawai! ​We had an appalling experience at Amritara Palash Jawai and strongly advise potential guests to look elsewhere. The hospitality, service, and basic amenities promised were entirely non-existent throughout our stay. ​To begin with, we checked in around 5:00 PM expecting high tea, but nothing was offered. For the next five hours, not a single person took our food order—in fact, there wasn't even a proper menu available on the property. We were then promised a buffet breakfast, only to find out the next morning that Amritara Palash Jawai has no buffet setup at all. ​What made a bad situation intolerable was the shocking behavior of the staff and management. Neither the staff nor the owners were cooperative. When we raised our concerns, instead of resolving the issues, we were met with direct aggression and threats. A member of the management went so far as to tell a guest, "Aap bolo toh uthake fek dunga" (If you speak up, I’ll throw you out). ​This level of hostility, disrespect, and unprofessionalism is completely unacceptable. A resort brand should deliver basic hospitality and a safe environment, but Amritara Palash Jawai failed on every count. Save your money, peace of mind, and dignity by booking somewhere else.

Very serene and secluded place. The resort location itself is very close to the leopard area of jawai so that helps for the safari. The place is very well maintained and the staff are very attentive and helpful at every moment, the food was excellent and they made sure to make note of our dietary needs and concerns before every meal. Huge thanks and credits to Mahinder and the rest of the staff for such an amazing stay.

My friend and I stayed here for 2 nights on February 12th and we had the most wonderful time. The lodges are beautiful, comfort and spacious with the most luxurious bedding and beds. The staff are polite and helpful and the food delicious. We went on the afternoon safari and were lucky enough to see crocodiles basking in rocks and a leopard feeding her 3 cubs. The most appealing aspect for us, was the tranquility of the whole place. Watching the sun set, looking at the stars and waking up to peacocks outside your room, just WOW
