A decent place! Bathrooms were renovated so they were clean and comfortable. Each room had two beds and quite spacious. Hot water is a bit tricky but the manager was kind enough to give some when request. The view was worth it. Pretty good stay for the price.

I recently stayed at Sri Lakshmi Tourist Home (S.L.T.H) in Coonoor, Tamil Nadu, and it turned out to be one of the most peaceful stays during my trip to the Nilgiris. The best part about this place is the breathtaking view from the rooms — every bedroom offers a beautiful panoramic view of the Coonoor town, especially during the early mornings and evenings when the hills are covered with mist and cold breeze. Waking up to that view felt truly refreshing. One interesting thing about staying in Coonoor and Ooty is that most hotels, homes, and Airbnbs don’t even have fans because the weather remains naturally cold throughout the day. The chilly climate and fresh mountain air are more than enough, which makes the experience even more unique for people visiting from warmer cities. The road leading to S.L.T.H is a bit difficult, especially for 4-wheelers, due to the steep and narrow hill roads, but once you reach the property, the stay feels completely worth it. The calm atmosphere, scenic surroundings, and cozy rooms make it a must-visit stay in Coonoor for anyone looking to enjoy the beauty of the Nilgiris.

The owner is very rude and unruly. Behaves as if we are staying for free. Took booking for 5 members stay, but denied extra mattresses, even though the room had only one double and one single bed.

Hotel is on hill but the road access is too dangerous. Only one car go at one time as multiple cars and bikes are parked on road side. Road is too steap

Worst service. No room service available. No TV working. Very sorry state of affairs
