Mudumalai Holiday Village Resort

We stayed 3 nights and so far in our 2 weeks this has by far been the most welcoming stay, the manager was HONEST and helpful and the staff were friendly and catered to any need upon being asked. You have nature down the back where we saw two types of deer, a lengur and three giant squirrels. I recommend it for foreigners as you will not be treated any differently ❤️

Was a lovely stay at this resort. The staff were very helpful and looked after us with great care. If you take a wander down in the early morning or evening to the bottom of the property, you will see a herd of deer.

I went to this place for my birthday trip and had a great time. The resort offers stunning views, excellent food, and well-maintained facilities. The comfortable rooms and serene surroundings made the stay delightful. The two very friendly dogs added a charming touch. Highly recommended for a peaceful retreat.

We were a 8 group family and we had a great experience here at the resort. We loved the stay although the rooms might be small but it was a pleasant stay. Everyone's experience will be different but the staff were polite and very helpful. The Manager Sharfuddin was very helpful, our car ran into some mechanical issue and the manager did all that be could to help with the issue. The compound that the property is located in was beautiful too. Must stay if you are on a tight group budget.

I recently stayed at Mudumalai Holiday Village and had a wonderful experience. The location is excellent, offering beautiful surroundings and easy access to local attractions. The service from the host was outstanding; they were friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. The ambiance of the village is perfect for families, with plenty of space and a welcoming atmosphere. There is also ample parking available, which made our stay very convenient. Although new villas are still under construction, this did not affect our stay in any negative way. The only minor downside was the breakfast; I wasn't a fan of the bread omelet. However, this was a small issue in an otherwise fantastic experience. Overall, I highly recommend Mudumalai Holiday Village for a relaxing and enjoyable family getaway.

Had a good experience in this resort.. service is better.. Unfortunately water heater doesn't work in our room.. suggesting them to provide complimentary breakfast for the guests... other than these everything is good.. Unexpectedly we met with deers in the parking of the resort..

Decent budget place in Mudumalai. It is ~25km /1.30 hrs from ooty. Stay 4/5 - Stayed in 2bhk villa for 2 days which had 2 bed rooms, hall, and small kitchen. One bedroom had fan and other one had fan and air conditioner. Bathrooms were small but clean. Hot water available 24hrs but in the morning first time when we use it we need to wait 20 to 30 mins to get hot hot water. TV is there with Tata sky connection. Small fridge was there in kitchen but not working properly. Food - No food was available when we went there. The said restaurant was closed so we had to go to Gudalur for food which was around 2km from this resort. There 1 or 2 restaurants available within 700 meters though. Service 5/5 - staffs were courteous and helpful. Ambience 4/5 - small park is there for kids. There's a big ground at the back side but not in good condition. If they properly maintain the ground, it can be used for playing games.

Those who love to visit forest it's a good option to visit genepool ecotourim there u can experience zip line and adventurous stay with amazing glass rooms inside the jungle
