We loved our stay at Velu Resort. Nestled between the greenery, it was just perfect. Many restaurants are nearby as well. The front desk staff are amazing and go way beyond their means to help and support in my opinion, especially Mirudhun Lal. Excellent. We will be back for sure. I highly recommend it for sure.

The property is located on the main road but taking a car inside is a herculean task. Also, most of the rooms doesn't have an AC and the room rent is definitely not value for money. Also, the property neither has a restaurant nor a kitchen of it's own. The nearest restaurant is about 2 km away in the town. Being a hilly terrain and crowded place, accessing the nearby restaurants is a tedious task. The entire area is declared plastic free and water bottles are not available in any of the shops. Think twice before booking, in case you are accompanied with children or senior citizens along with.

Not suitable for families. Some renovation work is going on and the resort is adding a few more rooms. Situated near Tea plantations. One best thing is you have one family restaurant very close to the property. Food is decent enough. My review helps and plan accordingly.

Good view.clean resort. Good experience. Good service. Only drawback is for eating you need to step out to nearby restaurant. The resort owner needs to get this fixed for a great experience.

Stayed in basic room and its neat and clean. 24 hours hot water as heater s attached in bathroom. Location is edge of Gudalur hence its calm and relaxing.! At least they cud have Kept TV for basic rooms also that's very basic now a days and some switch boards not working Accessing road is bit steep and sharp left turn in first bend and difficult for big cars hence call them prior and get info on alternative road via near by restaurant Food s good in near by restaurant. So no need to worry abt it Some times near by restaurant crowded with school and college student's so need to wait or talk to billing counter guy to get some seat else it will be never ending waiting with 100s students having food.
