Discovery Village Masinagudi

We just had a quick visit to Masinagudi. It has a lot to offer to adventure loving people. If you get the right contacts you may do jungle trek, safari etc.. there are so many animals in there. We were lucky to spot lots of deers, peacocks, bisons, elephant herd and one bear. If you are really lucky you may well see tiger also.||You have multiple options of stay here. But don’t expect much of amenities as it’s all still in developmental phase. Same goes for restaurants also. ||There are around 500 jeeps to take you around for safari. Please do confirm the rates beforehand itself. ||Any help on what I know I would be delighted to share with you.

This place is 22 km away from Ooty town.. This place is almost plains. Near by bamboo banks, muthumalai reserve forest.. Temperatures is normal. It's between 22c to 28c.. Near Moyer dam is good for location. Mudumalai jungle safari is arranged by forest department.. They charge Rs 135 per person.. It is good.. I was saw deer, elephants, bison , etc..

Tired of city life we went looking for calmness and this place was just amazing||It just had six rooms and we were occupying 3 rooms rest were vacant ||So all the more solitude.||Good food and amazing location.||Nothing special to say about the safari ride as you can see al those animals while driving to this place.||Insects and red ant might be an issue for few and this is something which their care taker need to improve upon||This place does not have swimming pool and amenities like resort but if you are looking for quite place then this is good
