The Hidden Paradise

It’s a nice place to chill. We were planning for some good and decent beach house kind. Hidden Paradise is the best place to chill as a couple, also with frnds. Very safe and Private place. Would like to visit again. Hospitality was good. They appoint a person to take care of our needs. Anytime food, water awesome. Also the place is maintained. We also met some jelly fishes. Exact marine life you can see here. Sunrise is extraordinary. View of beach and the view from the room is no where u will get. Complete package of Fun.

Had been to this place with my friends. Absolutely poor maintenance of the property. No one to take care. Food being prepared somewer. We Wer told we would get fresh fish but we weren’t shown a glimpse of fish. They provided food from neighbouring hotel I guess. Nxt day they gave the previous day chicken. Horrible to core. Not advisable for family. Only solace s the beach. Otherwise it would have been a worst stay.

By far THE best beach resort I've been to. The beach itself is quietly secluded in the Gulf of Mannar National Biosphere with Clean and Clear Turquoise-Green waters. If you go at the right time, you can see the Turtle Nesting, Dolphins, peacocks, Sea gulls and all the amazing aquatic animals too in clear water.. seahorse, colorful fish and even the Bioluminescent plankton. It's hard to believe this place is in India! It's a hidden treasure. ❤️

Pathetic. Was made to wait for 3hrs in hot sun at the gate inspite of informing in advance of the arrival time. The interiors of the cabins are not done yet. Go if you want to barbeque yourselves to death. Don't be surprised if a few drunkards barge into your cabin at midnight saying the owner gave them permission to drink there (he actually did). Can say that the owner absolutely has no basic ethics nor any experience in hospitality business. This isn't an angry review. I waited for over a year to post this. The location is brilliant though. Good night sky and can catch bioluminescence in the sea if one is lucky.

It's a magical place! It's still on its way to believe fancy, has only the basic amenities. Spikey(the dog) is the heart of this place. Expect to find basic rooms, simple homely food and some great people! Also, please do keep the beach clean if you are going!

Pros 1) beach is shallow,can enjoy well 2) staffs are well behaved 3) food was great 4) view of beach from cabin Cons 1) cabin and around is completely rusted,not a place for family or kids. 2) ac wasn't working/malfunctioning 3) need to fix the bathroom doors 4) bed sheets was stained 5) water is salty to bath after bathing in beach. 6) should provide drinking water in the cabin.

Astonishing village celebration, we were thrilled to witness the ceremonies. Lot of dance like madness, so many people fainted out of excitement, piercing of cheeks with metal weapons and dance performance with it. Lot of food preparations, very harsh living of the fishermen, this coastal area has nothing much to farm but then they are solely dependent on fishing and goat meat for food and trade. People are very polite and heartwarming, took care of every small needs. There were still So many huts made of ancient techniques. It was so exciting to be a part of them. Stayed in tinned cans with AC, fan, water facility inside. Also had stayed for 1 clear night in tree house. N staying in tree house was the most awesome experience . We were accompanied by 3 dogs, a roaster and 3 turkey chicks plus more than 10 peacocks were always our guest every morning and evening. Also thinking about visiting the village again next time for more productivity I could provide from my end for everyone's betterment. And as promised, will visit 1000 year old Shiva temple and going to an secret island is in bucket list next time which we had no time for visiting this time. It was totally unplanned to visit this place and was also out of map but gave us unforgettable love, care and experience. Got to see world with different perspective. Special thanks to Roshana she is handling marine trust there, Arun our host, Mani and his family with amazing food.

The only positive side of this place is location. Accommodation on those containers is so pathetic. It was so dirty all around. Maintenance is big zero. We had left the place without even staying our night here. Not recommended for families.
