This hotel just topped my Worst Hotel list.||||*Actually its not a hotel, its a building with tiny rooms like pigeon hole. ||||I planned a weekend in Yercaud with my family and friend and booked two rooms at Bamboo Holidays for a Saturday night from Cleartrip.com portal. I arrived in Yercaud at 1 PM and Hotel was easy to find on Google map/navigation. ||||I was told only one room is available now and the guests in other room have not checked out, so I will have to wait for few more hours, This was completely unacceptable as I have a baby and a small kid travelling with me and after half hour argument involving Cleartrip helpdesk, they agreed to provide a room within 10 mins. The attitude of the reception person was "I don't care", and we finally got rooms after 1 hour delay. ||||The rooms were a joke. absolute Tiny with dirty and small baths. Room service was non existent and staffs avoided customers. Whenever you ask them something, they avoided the question by speaking Tamil and disappearing with no response. They do not even provide soap or towels.||||There are no parking for your car, so you have to park on the road or towards the back of the hotel. The hotel was very dirty and lot of empty alcohol and beer bottles strewn around the place and no upkeep.||||Summary: Avoid this hotel, and if you do not find anything in Yercaud, best thing is to come down to Salem and stay in a decent hotel.

We went for the weekend to Yercaud from Chennai. Looking through the tripadvisor and shortlisted 4 budgeted hotel, and asked each hotel the price and availablilty. We were travelling as a family of 4 hence needed two room of two bedroom each. Only VSV Resorts confirmed the availablily, and booked the room without any advance, and even we told him that we were not sure about coming as it all depended on the weather when we live Chennai. However the Manager / owner, both Mr. Kannan and Mr Ravi very very courtious and called us, after we confirmed, they were good enough to give some tips to Yercaud as well as direction to reach the VSV resort. ||||The room was excellant and was kept clean, the whole hotel was small compact and well kept. Basic necessaity was available in the room. We reach around 5.30 pm and the manager informed as this is 24 hrs check out, we can check out next day whatever time we want. We were given one of the best rooms with good view at the corner (Rom 8 & 9). We asked for hot water for a bath, and were given within 10 min. ||||They have a solor heater, and we were surprised to get piping hot water as early as 7 AM. The hotel location is approx. 800 mtrs from the lake, hence the place is nice peaceful, surrounded by coffee estates. Also close to the main Yercaud-Salem road. ||||Service were excellant, as we got the coffee, paper(on request) and some tolitearies which we forgot. They have room service, and a fantastic roof top where if you want have a relaxed rest with coffee. As this was offseason (July 6th and 7th). they did not have cook nor had facility to serve inhouse, but they will get any dishes from other hotels as you want. ||||Overall I would say, we felt good value for the money, specially as this looked as a family hotel. There was no inhouse parking, but behind the hotel there was ample place in open. No issue on water or power cut, they have inhouse generator. ||||I would recommend this hotel for family / friends for a short trip with a requirement of budgeted hotel.

Vsv resorts is a nice resort to stay. More over an economical stay. Staff was good. Specially Mr. Kannan who is an incharge of resort is very cooperative. Room are spacious and clean. Food prepared was nice and homely. Nothing bad with Vsv resorts the only thing is you cannot roam outside after 7 PM as it is very scary.

Firstly its not a resort, just normal building with rooms, although the place is well connected to the main road, however the road leading to this place are bad with no streetlights and they have changed the name from VSV Resort to Bamboo holiday now, hence finding the place was challenging since they do not have any display board. The phone numbers goes unanswered. They have limited hotel staff and were courteous. The hotel has no food counter, so for everything one has to go outside even to have tea/coffee/juice beverages and snacks. Take a printed invoice copy of the booking receipt if you have booked online. All the vehicle should be parked on the roadside since they lack dedicated parking space even for the 2 wheeler inside the hotel premises.

I have booked this stay for my parents:|My parents comments as follows:|1. There is no difference between restroom and room, complete filthy smell across the room.|2. Very poor response from management and room service.|3. Bed rolls are not clean and tidy.||On top of it, my parents vacated the room within one hour despite the payment of room rent for one day.|The resort is completely not recommended for even a single minute stay.|

Went with my family and stayed for 2 nights. Room quality was not at all up to the mark and expectations. Ambiance outside and inside the hotel is not good. I will not recommend this for a family stay. No food available in the facility or near by, one need to walk for at least 1 KM for a good eatery shop

I went on solo bike trip. At first they said single person can't stay. Later when i booked online, they allowed. Room was just avg or below avg. It was too humid. For Rs 1000 its not at all worth. Restaurant had only plain dosa nothing else.
