Rishikul Kumbh Cottages

Rishikul kumbh cottages is a great place to stay and the staff is so helpful and dedicated. We had absolutely no problem with our stay of 15 members at these cottages. The food and the evening music program is outstanding. Best time we had. It is the worlds largest Religious gathering and in such a situation of high demand and stress they are doing the best possible job. Keep it up

We had an amazing stay. Everything from room to cleanliness and food was top notch. The cottages are at bank of river and the ghats are easily accessible. The arrangement and services were good, given the crowd , I say kudos to entire management to ensure smooth check-in and check-out services. The food was simple , fresh and authentic exactly what is needed when you are at MahaKumbh!

Loved the ambience and serene vibes. Cute small shops selling books and other items including ice creams. Food was plentiful and adequate with a mesmerizing singer belting out oldies from a 3 pc band at dinner time. Rooms are adequate for the purpose. Clean but could have used more light and space to put open luggage. A towel rack or rope is useful too. My main gripe is about the inordinately long check in. Took us 2 hours and there was only 2 guys at the counter. One of them was clueless. The place is far from the main sangam and the area of activity so transport is a big issue. Walking is the only option most of the time. E rickshaws are barred in many parts. Exorbitant charges too. But that’s part and parcel of the experience. The people were great.

Absolutely Divine Experience! I recently had the privilege of staying at Rishikul Kumbh Cottages, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience! The moment I stepped into the cottage, I was enveloped in a warm and lively atmosphere that instantly lifted my spirits. The ambiance was serene and peaceful, with a positive aura that permeated every corner of the property. The cottages were tastefully decorated, clean, and comfortable, making me feel right at home. But what truly made my stay exceptional was the courteous and helpful front office team. They were always available to assist me with a smile, making me feel valued and cared for. And then, there was the food - oh, the glorious food! The satwik cuisine was not only delicious but also nourishing, leaving me feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. In short, Rishikul Kumbh Cottages is a must-visit destination for anyone seeking a tranquil and uplifting experience. I highly recommend it and look forward to returning soon!

The rooms/tents are good, comfortable and clean. The attached toilets are passable. The ambience is pretty nice and access to Ganges is very pleasing, especially for a walk at night. However the live old Hindi songs musical evening could have had a meditative/spiritual essence rather than one of a holiday. The food was good. The main issue is one of very poor reliability of the additional offered services. We paid for taxi pick up and drop (Varanasi) thru Rishikul, which was fraught with problems including - poor communication, multiple sub-brokers, drivers threatening to stop the car on the highway as they did not have/were not paid money for fuel (!!!). This led to a lot of unpleasantness on the journey. I had to field multiple calls from various agents in between. The other option was to pay for the fuel in addition to the full payment made for the rides!! In addition, we had booked for the boat ride from Arail ghat to Sangam thru “Rishikul” and the “sub-broker/agent”, did not even pick up the phone when we called. We had to make our own arrangements and paid double at the ghat. When confronted at the front desk, we were refunded the initial payment made. Overall because of poor services whole experience was extremely frustrating.

It was mentioned Sector-20 in advance money receipt copy provided to me and when I reached Sector-20 and when I was unable to find Rishikul cottages and then I called Rishukul numbers and became to know that it is actually located at Sector-25!!! How can an organization be so casual to their customers?? I had to spend Rs4000 extra and almost 5 hours to reach to Rishikul cottages due to such miscommunication of Rishikul authority!! It was a huge harassment for my family, and my wife also got sick due to such harassment. Unfortunately no person from Rishikul even said "Sorry" to us. Reception was like Government office, no one gave us any clear cut replies, whenever we got any reply, we got with less clarity. There was no arrangement for mosquito repellers which caused a big problem for us. Only one bulb light was arranged at one corner of the tent which is insufficient to do any work and reading. So you can't stay inside tent in evening hours and sufficient numbers of chairs were also not available at common places to sit and spend times. Hot water was not available till 6am in the morning and in entire evening hours. Room service didn't appear for single time unless I called them to get water bottles as per daily quota!

Had a great experience staying there on trip to Mahajumbh. We had booked 2 Vishnu cottages. Great spacious, clean cottages With all facilities listed in brochure available. We requested for additional comforter for night, and was provided. The food was ample and tasty for all meals. Checkin was smooth, so was checkout. went to Ghat just outside the tent area, at 10 in the night, very peaceful and quiet. and safe as well.they can arrange for taxi to sangam, airport, but the charges are pretty high.

Awesome venue, top notch service, truly 5 star divine experience, has private bathing river bank to take holy dip if one is not interested to walk upto Triveni. Support volunteer staff like Anil Sinha ji, Anurag, Himanshu ji, Catering service owners and entire support staff were excellent, more than helpful. Food served was awesome, entertainment at the evening by best musical artist. Shopping area had best of products related to Hindu culture and puja. It was very relaxing experience. May the tribe grow more. God bless the entire team of Rishikul.
