Yog1 Badrinath

Don't believe in this so called hotel. It's an ashram taking bookings in the name of hotel on online websites. The road to the hotel is blocked and no traveller or car is able to go through. Given the terrain it's very difficult to walk that much distance (1km) along with luggage for anyone. The property owner is very rude and unwilling to help. Don't go by the 5 star ratings on this property. DON'T BOOK THIS HOTEL. Also the best part is they have made their bookings non refundable precisely because they are cheating customers by adding fake reviews. It's a complete fraud. Be aware anyone thinking of booking this hotel.

Best Place To Stay In Badrinath, Just Book It Without A Second Thought. The rooms are well furnished, good food, well mannered staff and courteous booking staff. The temple is very near and easily accessible. Also the property has temple view and the temple queue view so you can easily plan accordingly when to visit the temple. The market is nearby as well so you can buy souvenirs for your loved ones. The service is also fantastic. Overall highly recommended to everyone, if you wanna make your stay in Badrinath Good and hassle-free.

I would never recommend booking this hotel. It's located down a narrow lane where no vehicle can access it, and the staff is not helpful at all. When we visited Badrinath, construction work was ongoing, preventing heavy vehicles from entering. I spoke to the duty officer about my situation, explaining that I was traveling with a child and senior citizens and had luggage, making it impossible to walk. After some consideration, they allowed us to drive to a nearby point, but the lane was too narrow for the car to enter. We had no choice but to book a new hotel closer to the temple at a more reasonable rate, lower than what we had paid to Yog 1. We repeatedly requested Yog 1 to send someone to help us with our luggage, but they were unhelpful, insisting they had no one available. We felt stranded in a new place and were very upset. Since we had already paid in advance, they showed little concern for our situation.

Not helpful we were not able to check-in. Since there is no way if any vehicle to enter the place where this ashram "Not Hotel" is we had seven senior citizens with is in group of 11 the person on the call was very rude even the local police staff was un aware that there is hotel on name of this. The Senior Police officer told us its ashram and there is no way you can reach there except by walking. Since there were seven senior citizens after repeatedly calling yog1 there was no help provided instead he was shouting on us. Kindly request don't book this ashram or so called "hotel".

Yog 1 Badrinath is an Excellent stay option. Clean, wooden-furnished rooms. Modern bathrooms. Riverside location with stunning views of Alaknanda River and Badrinath Temple. Friendly staff. Note- The Manager initially showed rooms at the adjacent ashram, not Yog 1. Contact customer care to ensure correct accommodation. Verify your booking before checking in.

If you go there, no one knows yog1 hotel because it doesn't exist at all. It's an Aashram for which they are taking online booking in the name of Yog1. Vehicles can't reach the Ashram's location, which we tried hard to reach the hotel after taking special permission from the police staff as there was some construction going on there but couldn't reach and finally we came back. There was a lot of luggage and senior citizens travelling with us and expected some help from the staff but didn't get any support. Somehow we could have managed to walk 150-200m from parking to the Ashram's location but after trekking to Kedarnath and the long journey we could not afford to carry that much luggage. Overall we should not rely on online booking.

The room and services were very much better than expected 🙏🏻Very cozy rooms and well maintained. Loved the beautiful view from our rooms. Worth the price, thank you so much.
