Good place to stay, we were allocated an private villa having 3 bedrooms, villa was very spacious and amazing mountain view from the room. Very peaceful place and we spotted some unique birds. They offered musical evening activity witch was great, Food was good!! Sattal lake is 5-10 minutes drive only. They have 2 parkings the upper one is more convenient as the is an stea incline to access the lower level parking it's accessible with small cars. Otherwise everything was good as per the pricing.

Recently me and my family stayed The Canadian Woods Resort in Bhimtal and it was really awesome experience. The resort nestles in the beautiful Himalayan landscape and is the perfect getaway for families wanting relaxing and adventurous holiday. The rooms were big, with panoramic view of surrounding mountains, and adding on to it, the cozy cottages were just a cherry on the top.||The most impressive thing about the resort was how family friendly it is. From the time we arrived, the staff was warm and welcoming into making your stay a comfortable one. We had great time with so many activities, kids get some excitement in their resort play area, indoor games and offer their outdoor adventures like hiking and bird watching. Another highlight for my children was that we were close enough to Bhimtal Lake that we could take a peaceful boat ride.||They had a lot of delicious food including the kind of stuff you can only get locally and the staff even catered to us being the types who have weird dietary preferences so that was just a great touch. The resort in which families with pets are pet friendly, is a good option for those who don’t want to leave their fuzzy pets behind.||However, as a family destination the Canadian Woods is as close to perfect as you are likely to get with natural beauty sitting together with excellent hospitality. I would highly recommend it if you’re looking to not just relax with your family, but in a beautiful, scenic place.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐||I recently stayed at this wonderful hotel, just 15km away from the serene Kainchi Dham Ashram, and it exceeded all my expectations! The location is perfect for those visiting the ashram, offering both convenience and a peaceful retreat. The rooms were spotless, spacious, and beautifully designed with modern amenities, providing a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere after a day of exploring.|The views from the property were breathtaking, surrounded by the lush greenery and scenic mountains of the region. It truly felt like a home away from home, and I can’t recommend this hotel enough for anyone planning a trip to Kainchi Dham. I will definitely be returning on my next visit!

went there in augesst... the property is in between the nature, peaceful place it is, the bonfire area is superb!! good room service and food.. place is very quiet.. you can enjoy the soothing noice of water stream from oak room. stairs were the drawback.

Ghost place. **Review of Canadian Wood Resort, Uttarakhand** I recently visited Canadian Wood Resort in Uttarakhand, and I must share my personal experience, which unfortunately wasn't pleasant. From the moment I arrived, I couldn’t shake off a strange and eerie feeling, as if someone was constantly watching or staying with me. While I don’t want to spread any superstition or mislead anyone, this was just my personal experience, and it left me feeling uneasy. Within just two hours of arriving, I lost my token money, which only added to the discomfort. The condition of the resort was far from what I had expected. There was **dirt everywhere**, and the overall **hygiene was severely lacking**. The **washrooms were filthy**, and the **bedsheets were stinky and extremely dirty**—definitely not a place where you’d feel comfortable resting. I don’t want to say too much more, but I **strongly urge** anyone considering a stay here to **thoroughly check the property** in person before making any payment. My experience was disappointing, and I hope others can avoid the same.

Very bad service, location is horrible, water was not coming since morning 7 AM to 10 AM. Food is very bad, Even 1 rating is also not suitable for that Even after multiple calls they were not able to resolve the issue. Whole night it was horrible and morning as well. We booked 2 night stay and left in 1 night only.

Worst experience and management. The property has no reception desk, no room service … water was not available whole night Mayank who is the staff is too rude and threathens guests . I think he is not getting paid by the owner. Food 🥘 quality is sick and 4 boil eggs means 2 eggs divided into 4 . Waste of money … service delivery is slower than tortoise . Owner please get out of hospitality business and do something else . TOTAL WASTE ……. Imagine living in your sham place without water 💦 supply whole night . Sad state of affairs.

Only Location is good. ||Very bad experience of this resort. ||All cottage rooms are interconnected. There is no privacy at all. You have to share your room environment with others guest due to inter connectivity. ||I have asked hotel manager to shift the room around 5 PM. They assured me to do it within 30 min, but around 9.30 PM they denied and say tomorrow it will be done. But the same situation , result is Zero even I asked them to pay additional charges for this to make me secure. During this situation I was not in situation to even to order food or snacks. Kids are very hungry, I contacted ClearMyTrip, but they are helpless and not provided any solution. They say only sorry and nothing else. ||I spent two sleepless nights due smoke smell and lound talk and music by this inter connected room in this resort with my family because I had paid in advance. ||Totally wasteage of money and moreover your precious time. ||I Never Recommend This Resort to a Family.
