A heritage property converted into a hotel yet it made us feel just like we’ve come home. The Regent Rooms on the Ground Floor are one of the best places to stay, with a beautiful garden adjoining the spacious veranda have a great view overlooking the mountains. The staff was cordial and cooperative, attended to all our requests in a humble manner, made our holiday certainly a pleasurable one. Looking forward to our next trip!

Excellent property. Must visit . Child friendly. Food is just Awesome, staff was really helpful in arranging food for our 1 year old child. They also helped us in arranging cab and fair was correct too. If you want to spend stress free stay nearby delhi this place is must

Had a wonderful and a peaceful stay at ashdale. The rooms were very neat and clean and were giving a beautiful vintage feeling. Food was also good.The staff was very kind and were ready to help with whatever you wanted and overall had a lovely experience during my visit 😊

Experience was just perfect & tooth point , the management was extremely helpful in all aspects , since we went with family , kids …. It was just like home , food was excellent so was the services , from from office to everything was very well organised.||Staff was very friendly so no hiccups , delighted to be there , since it’s an heritage property it has different atmosphere, we loved it ,also it’s very grand and spacious & has lot of fun activities for kids .||So guess it’s a must .||Amit gupta

The hotel was chosen over the famous Naini Resort. The property was one of the three residents in Nainital belonging to the Royal family of Sahaspur - Bilari. During the 3 days stay, I realized that it was a great decision. Room: The room was on 2nd floor with two small balconies and a big window with lovely view (photo attached). The room itself was nicely decorated. It is was airy, has natural lights. Overall has a positive vibe. Staff: Restaurant staffs are well trained professional. They serve food with a lot of affection and warmth. Takes care of the need of the customer. You will get a home like vibe. The restaurant can prepare less spicy food as well, which we enjoyed. Location: just next to the High Court. It is around 2 km from the Mall road and Naini lake. Walking distance. Outside of the hotel has a vibrant garden with natural flora. If you are in Nainital, this hotel is recommended for stay. Note: The hotel does not have a elevator.

We stayed at the WelcomHeritage Ashdale hotel in Nainital for three days at the end of September 2024. The weather was cool and refreshing, averaging around 15°C, with some fog and rain adding to the charm without disrupting our sightseeing. We booked two ground-level rooms for our group of five, which allowed us to enjoy the shared outdoor seating area exclusively for meals and mountain views. Highlights: 1. Exceptional Service: Right from Ranjeet Kanwal who was my primary point of contact since the booking to Ganesh at the reception, they ensured that everything was coordinated seamlessly. 2. Local flavours: Both restaurant managers extended outstanding hospitality and served flavoursome Kumaoni dishes. 3. Aesthetic Appeal: The property’s interiors and exteriors are picture-perfect and Instagram-worthy. Numerous friends and colleagues inquired about the property after seeing our photos. Suggestions for Improvement: 1. One room’s washroom latch was not fully functional, a minor issue but worth addressing. (Given that I stayed at the property in September), I presume that's taken care of by now. 2. Shuttle Service: The property is about 1.5 km from Mall Road, which can be a lengthy walk for seniors. Although I was told a shuttle service used to be available, it wasn’t during our stay. Reinstating it would be a helpful convenience. 3. Vendor Price Consistency: We booked transportation through the hotel’s vendor, Irshad, but the final charge was ₹3,000 higher than the price quoted by the hotel initially. Since all of this happened very last minute and I had to get to the airport (with 3 senior citizens), I ended up not making a big deal of it. My point being that the hotel needs to be more in control of what their vendor finally charges the clients. Better oversight on vendor pricing would enhance the overall experience. Overall, we had a memorable and relaxing stay, and I recommend WelcomHeritage Ashdale for those visiting Nainital who prefer a peaceful retreat slightly removed from the bustling Mall Road and market area.
