Nayalap - Paathar House

I stayed there for 5 nights and 6 days and the stay was one of the best ever. The local home cooked food was incredible. The menu was decided by Tanuja and it was always better than we expected. The home grown organic veggies, homemade pickle and milk products were just awesome. The rooms are comfortable and very clean. The staff Suresh, Aman and Indu didi were very cooperative and did whatever they could to make our stay a memorable one. Its a must go place for nature lovers, solitude cum adventure seekers. Will go again for sure,

Amazing little house nested in the middle of the forest. You can only access it by foot, which adds to the magic of the place. The walk to the house is very easy, a nice flat path through the forest and the meadow. The house is very clean, very cute and cosy, with an amazing view and fire place for cold evenings. And last but not least, the chef is incredibly talented and will make you taste amazing kumaoni food. As for all Nayalap properties, each small detail is thought to make you feel at home. We highly recommend!! PS you can bring your pet, the location is amazing and safe for furry friends

Beautiful heritage home with a fantastic view of the Himalayan peaks. The caretaker and the owner, Mr. Prem, is a wonderful host, and the finest cook.

We had a chance to document and spend a week in this absolutely heavenly part of our countryside for a week. What memories! Also, the place itself, rustic, cozy, warm and above everything else, cut off from the modern world, exactly what one needs these days for truly getting away form it all.
