BEHL FOREST RETREAT

Room is nice but service is very bad. They don’t provide any toiletries just one small soap of medimix. Spoke to hotel manager and to my surprise said we only provide this soap only. Half of the time electricity was not there at night which spoiled my sleep specially after you return from Kedarnath trek where you need a good night sleep.

We are stay here for 2 nights with 18 person group. We found awesome rooms and location of this property. Issue is that they had not enough staff to take luggage or room service, we had got difficulty for the first night. We don't got food.. after we reached there they make food around 9 pm, after so much arguments. Next day same issue occurred in lunch time also. Room service are very bad. Infact not giving water bottle also. For housekeeping services or any requirement we have to stay for half n hour.. and they will fulfill after arguments.. overall location and rooms are awesome but service are worst...

I had gone through many negative reviews about the services and parking. It is true to some extent. Yes parking slope is for only 2/3 vehicles. You will worry if you come with own vehicle. Another problem the boy's didn't agree to come at 5 am to lift the luggage.By the time Mr Pawan send a boy, we hauled our own to the vehicle. Upper cottages are very good and have very good view of valley from balcony. Very peaceful atmosphere if you wish to spend some time. Service is ok. No intercom in rooms.

Resort location is good. Some rooms are good most of the rooms are worst. Service is no good. Room allocation is delayed by two hours waiting. Luggage reaching to room was delayed by 4 hours

Best stay in this entire trip of Do Dham yatra on 27th may and 29th may 2024. I went there with my parents for our Kedarnath yatra and I found it most pleasant and peaceful place to stay and relax. Their rooms and the view from the room and balcony is amazing. Rooms and washrooms are very neat and clean and spacious too. Their hospitality is too good, very impressive service and polite behavior by all the staffs and manager.

The rooms are good, .. i am giving 1 star because 1.) elderly people cannot take the stairs 2.) only 3-4 car can be parked as it is slope, so if one bus or traveller is parked lass cars can be parked 3.) they have kept Glass bottle inside for drinking , and channces are there it can break and they will charge Rs 500, it happented with us, they rang our door bell at 10.30pm and starte4d asking for Rs 500, i told them to give me a GST invoice for Rs 500 they denied and again at 11.00pm they rang the door bell for rs 500, i called manager that any customer stays does not intentionally break the glass. and also you are charging Rs 500 for a bottle that cost Rs 50 or Rs 100 an you do not give a bill for that.. so i did not paid them..their argument continued telling me lier and all.. 4.) next day morning when we checked out the House keeping team did not come to take our bags .. we requested 2 people from restaurant they helped us with luggage. 5.) previous night we stayed , we had booked for 2 person and bcoz of traffic jam, there were a aged couple from london , they were strugging for room but because we stayed in 4 bedded room, we requested managr if they can be accomodated, he obliged by charging us Rs 2500, how ever he did no gave us the bill for that. if they improve on their hospitality they can be better in ranking.. else 4 start is not what is reflecting .

A very comfortable and relaxing stay. Booked this resort for one night enroute our journey to kedarnath. Rooms are exactly as shown in pictures.though we were given the normal rooms as the cottages had some renovation work ongoing, but no worries as the rooms were clean with hot water facility. ( though would suggest them to have big size geysers). we had a package booked including dinner and breakfast and the staff didn't disappoint us with the quality of food. Hygiene and tasty food was served with a our requests catered with a smiling attitude. Thank u bhel Forest retreat for a wonderful stay. Would love to stay again.
