The Sana Beach Resort

This place is a complete fraud. Please be very careful incase you visit this resort. JUST DON'T TRUST THEM BLINDLY. Everything is extremely overpriced. This place is full of greedy people, all they care about is your money. Once they have your money they will forget that you are their guest. Food quality, room quality, service, pool hygiene, cleanliness, professionalism, basic manners and etiquettes, etc, everything was below average. Nothing is according to the price we paid for. I have been to this place quite a few times before, and it used to be pretty decent, but day by day the quality is only deteriorating (in all respect). I got to know that this place hardly has any visitors nowadays because of all the bad reviews, bad service, and bad image they have lately created of themselves. So when they have some guests (during holidays) they make sure they badly loot you to recover their losses. Be careful of most of the greedy staffs around (except for just a few). Each and every staff is only dieing for your tip (literally dieing). You won't see these staffs during your stay, but you will get to see everyone when you are about to leave. You should be ready for all these greedy eyes looking for a tip from you, even if they haven't served you at all. Managers are complete liars and frauds. Mr. Krishnendu, Mr. Sukhdev, etc, they are all greedy liars and extremely disrespectful. They will promice you with everything when you are about to book your stay, but later they will make a huge bill (for a below standard stay) and will confidently say "ke humne aisa kuch to bola hi nahi tha". Trust me they are quite well trained to fool you. They don't know how to treat and talk to a guest, but they very well know how to fool them. I suggest you clear everything with them properly before booking your stay or give your hard earned money. Just keep your eyes open and don't trust them blindly. I have read some reviews, and I can assure you that all the complains in the reviews are 100% correct. There are much better options in Mandarmani, in a lot more better price, so avoid Sana beach resort, because you'll be highly disappointed. Owner should do something about these bad reviews, or else they will have to shut down the place soon. This place used to be an excellent gateway, but slowly it's loosing that charm, because of the really poor and inefficient management system. So try and work on it if possible. I have been a regular to this place, but never expected them to treat me the way they did this time. It felt as if they were doing a huge favour by accomodating me. Extremely disappointing and unacceptable. They actually don't care if you visit them again or not. So good for them. It was my last visit to this unprofessional, low standard, extremely downmarket, overpriced and greedy resort, and will also not recommend anyone. Read the reviews before booking your stay here, and PLEASE DON'T TRUST THEM BLINDLY.

Pure fraud. They show you something and provide something. And even don't give your money back.. rooms are too small and dirty. At same price and even lesser you will get much better options. When they get the money they don't care for their customers.

The food at this resort is absolutely terrible, and I strongly advise against booking a cottage here. The cottages are in poor condition, and to make matters worse, stray dogs constantly come near the door and scratch or knock, making it a very unpleasant experience.

Visited second time.. last time my experience was far better than this time.. Restaurants environment too bad due to food quality and service of waiters.. poor maintenance of the property.. rate of rooms or cottages too high compared to it's amenities..

Visited during independence day long weekend. Thet charged premium (10k per night) but rooms did not have basic facility like a mini bar / mini refrigerator, no electric kettle tea bags etc. Such basic amenities are expected at this price bracket

Their room rate too high upto their standard, but their pool is very good & enjoyable too . Food rate are too high upto their taste or quality . They provide co। alimentary breakfast ,but not sufficient like fruits or deserts . We can't get not a single piece of fruit . They told fruits are available when start ,but now not available .

I have to give a detailed and honest review. Since, last weekend was ( approximately) my 50th visit to Mandarmani, and unfortunately my usual resort didn’t have rooms available so I had to look for other resort and hence I stayed here.We took a Four bedded room. 1. Rooms not clean enough according to the price. 2. There is so much of bushes that you will forget that you are close to sea. 3. Pool had too much of bleach that all 4 of us had itching 4. Rooms didn’t not have basic things like electric kettle, dental kit, closed dustbins, clean towels. 5. Staffs do not tell you if buffet is avoid not. 6. They do not have enough shacks to enjoy the sea. 7. Dormitories for drivers were very bad. They even have a CCTV inside the bedroom. This is highly insulting. 8. No staff came to fetch our luggage after check out. We girls had to carry our luggages to our car. I will never visit Sana Beach resort and will always prevent others to visit.

I have visited this property first time, first impression was quite good, ample space to roam around within the property, beach property. However few things which I personally think should have better or needs to improved: 1. Didn't see toiletries except soap bar which I think should have been there, majority of the mandarmani resorts keeps basic toiletries in the bathroom. 2. They have an sitting area overviewing beach, So, people who wants to sit and enjoy some drinks can sit, however this a extra paid arrangement, this is my first experience in mandarmani where you have to pay extra to sit within property. However this service includes 1 bucket ice, 2-3 Water bottles, if you want extra ice then pay again extra. So, these are some things which I didn't like, not a good customer experience.
